FYI: any time I click on the Road to War link, I get this error message:

I waited about a half hour last time and still get that message.

That link also does not work :(
Cori,
Please try this: HERE
I tested that. Actually Weslocke has the right link but his post has a space in it which makes it fail.

That being said, Neil and I pooled our talents to bring this new adventure plug-in that we're confident will bring a certain robustness to a certain Demon War AP right about Chapter two and going into Chapter Three.
If you've been concerned about daily encounters that your group goes "nova" all over, our encounters will make PC resource allocation a bit more thoughtful during the journey to their next goal.
This was done in the spirit of our 5 star "Road to Destiny" adventure (thank you Endzeitgeist!), although with some slight changes. It's a bit more modular, and quite easy to add and subtract just the encounters you like. No worries though! It also hangs together and provides an additional story goal.
We hope you like it!

Oops. Sorry all. Thought I would give it a shot. :)
This adventure does look exceptionally intriguing. I remember thinking, when first reading the second and third modules that there was a lot of room for expansion amongst all those diverse encounter areas. At the time I had no idea that the very same authors who wrote those modules intended to do exactly that personally. I am really looking forward to this expansion. I am anticipating it taking the plot beyond "Mythic" to "Legendary".

Honestly, I'm a little underwhelmed by that table of contents. Kind of disappointing it doesn't include Mythic versions of Genie Nobles, or at least something with a CR above 12. with or without its tiers.

Hi Kvantum,
You certainly have a point, and our proofreader suggested something similar. I've talked with Jonathan Keith, and we are going to tweak the genies in this product into genie nobles. I think it neatly solves the CR issue as well as really embodying what a MYTHIC GENIE should be, and there's a little something extra about our mythic genies that makes it make total sense for them to be noble genies to boot. But that is another preview... :)
Meanwhile, speaking of previews, here's another one for Road to War: The Equinox Crown!

I'll wait to see the next preview then. And just the cover art is enough to know I need the Mythos pdf. Mythic gugs as the minions? Scary to think of what a Shoggoth with 9 tiers will pull off.

You will see. Oh yes, you will see, my precious...
Next preview up! An introduction to Mythic Monsters: Mythos and the terrible secrets you will discover therein.
| PathlessBeth |
Well, I'll definitely pick up Mythic Monsters: Mythos. It also reminds me that I need to stat out mythic mindflayers , mythic beholders, and mythic mindflayers of Thoon. I know they can't be published by name, though...
I had a similar reaction to the ToC for MM: Inner Planes as Kvantum did...you definitely focused only on the most common inner planes creatures, which don't overlap all that much with my favorites. I'll still probably get it when it comes out.
So...right now I either have or plan to get all the products in the 'mythic' line except MM: Mounts. My players and I don't use mounts very often...I see there are some new feats and abilities in it, though, so I might consider giving them to some NPCs...
So basically what I'm asking is if anyone on this thread can give a totally unbiased explanation of why I should get MM4: mounts? Surely someone (I'm looking at you, Jason Nelson) could give an unbiased assessment of the new mythic abilities for mythic mounts:)

I can say, without a trace of irony or bias, that this ability that I wrote for the mythic pony is one of my favoritest things I have ever written for any game thing ever:
Inexplicable Survival (Su) A mythic pony has a supernatural knack for surviving situations that should have killed it. Whenever a mythic pony is about to be killed or permanently incapacitated, it can spend one use of its mythic power to miraculously recover and escape, reappearing 1d6 hours later fully healed, rested, and none the worse for wear. If at the GM’s discretion its master or rider abuses or mistreats the mythic pony, such as sending it into excessively dangerous or near-suicidal situations, the pony uses this ability upon its death but never returns, and horses and ponies become hostile to the pony's master as the nature's exile spell for 1 month. Remove curse or break enchantment can negate this curse with a DC 14 caster level check.
Sure, there are lots of mythic mount abilities more dramatic, but this one was my favorite.

Ben, Jason just posted the best single bit of Mounts, but as a whole, I'm probably more happy with MM: Mounts than I am with MM: Demons, to be honest. Normally the lower level range would be a bit of a turn-off to me, but there aren't really good potential mounts above CR 12 anywhere in the Bestiaries right now, anyway (other than the new CR 14 Xanthos in Bestiary 4) so it's not a fault in LG's design or anything.
Every one of the monsters has at least one new ability. Some of them have made me take a second look at some that I never thought were really viable (hippocampus) and some just finally gave me a version of it worth a high-powered PC actually keeping around (advanced Giant Eagles - I've had Avariel/Aellar in my games for years now.)

Pinkie Pie, is that you?
And I do have to agree, that idea sounds both cool and more than a little funny as the players and DM work to justify it. "How did my pony survive a fall into that pit filled with acid and sharks?"

Interesting things coming!
I love all the products LG puts out, but by far the best things you have done have been the Ultimate Plug-ins! So the next question would be: When can we expect to see Ultimate War? I haven’t seen or heard anything about it in a long time, so I’m getting a bit twitchy.
I was just cracking the whip on Jason about this yesterday. He promises me he is writing it. We will all keep on him ;)

I'm really looking forward to Road to War- I love things that fill in the gaps between adventures with even more adventure goodness. I just hope it doesn't have as many proof-reading errors as Road to Destiny, though- in some places that otherwise awesome work was... painful.
We have certainly stepped up our proofreading systems over the last 4-6 months, but if you have particular issues you've found please forward them to makeyourgamelegendary@gmail.com; we will be putting together the Far East Compilation for our Kickstarter backers soon and we'd be delighted to make the relevant corrections!

Thanks, Rachel. Can I confirm that it's working properly? It doesnt seem to include the Ultimate Plug Ins that are available in print and does include Mythic Magic: Core Spells and Demons (which I didnt think were print products(?) The Mythic Monsters 1:Demons is pretty cheap if that is a print product.
I'm also struggling to add a print only copy of Road to War to my cart. :(
I wouldnt put a lot of effort into it if I were you. Especially if it currently proves to be a little buggy and you've got a redesign on the way.
Cheers
Steve

I love the artwork on this one. And bonus points if anyone gets the convoluted little tip of the hat / obscure reference with this particular critter's name.

Indeed. I had just be clearing the decks of a collection of ALMOSTTHISCLOSETODONE projects to push them down the production cycle, but the War has commenced!
You impatient people, you didn't even wait until I got to the preview of it. Maybe I was just saving the best for last. :)
I'm like a kid on Halloween! If I hit enough houses, I'll eventually get the candy I'm looking for...
Either way ladies and gents, good work! Everything you've previewed so far is a buy for me.

We announced at PaizoCon that the "Righteous Crusade" AP and the "Pirate AP" would be the next ones we'd be supporting with products, and while we have a fair number of good ideas in the hopper, you are always welcome to volley in with things you're hoping to see. It certainly can't hurt your chances... :)

Will there be a character set for the pirate AP then? (Hoping for a catfolk character)
You'd be far more likely to see a tengu as a non-standard race in that set than a catfolk. Personally, I'd probably hold out for doing a catfolk until Serpent's Skull (any jungle cat), Legacy of Fire (any desert cat), or possibly Reign of Winter (i.e., snow leopard/tiger themed). Outside of that, catfolk just aren't good thematic fits in terms of credible backstories for most of the existing APs. And they're not that prevalent in Golarion anyway...at least, not the regions where these APs take place.

The blame is all mine, Changing Man! You have my regrets. No matter how hard you try, you just can't proof-read yourself and not have some slip past. Please send us those goofs and we'll get fixed!
