Undead, some questions

Rules Questions

Hi,
first of all english isn't my first language so please have some mercy :-).

Undead are immune to all mind-affecting effects and also have Immunity to any effect that requires a Fortitude save (unless the effect also works on objects or is harmless).

1) In Carrion Crown is a NPC Vampire Bard. Inspire Courage is a mind-affecting ability. Does this ability work on Undead?
2) Spells like Prayer, Heroism, Bless are mind-affecting. So they should not work on Undead. Some undead NPC Casters carry the rage spell, that's mind-affecting too. Just to be sure, do they work or not?
3) Since Undead are immune to morale effects, do they qualify for any morale bonus like the rage ability bonus to strength? (See also 4))
4) In one of the Society Scenarios is a Raging Ghast Tier 6-7 NPC, a Ghast Barbarian 5. His stats show Str 25 and Cha is 26. Compared to a Standard Ghast that seems to include the rage bonus to Str and a bonus to Cha. Do Undead Barbarians get a +4 Cha bonus instead of the +4 Con bonus?
5) In view of #4. Righteous Might gives a +4 size bonus to Con. Is this bonus assigned to Cha when an Undead casts this spell?

I hope you guys can enlighten me on these.

1-3) no, mind-affecting and morale effects are lost on undead creatures.
4) by the rules, no. But this is a published 'unique' monster, it works as published.
5) by the rules, no. But for story purposes, a deity might empower his undead cleric by granting a (maybe not size) bonus to charisma. Or a lich has found a variant of the spell focused on empowering undead targets.

Liberty's Edge

1 - 3) You have the right of it, by the rules.
4 - 5) DMs are not required to play by the rules.

The Exchange Owner - D20 Hobbies

The moral bonuses to stats don't count as "morale bonuses" on the target. For example, it has been clarified that Courageous doesn't double the morale bonus to Str/Con of Rage. There are many example of Raging plants and undead.

Rage from most sources are Ex abilities. They don't have "mind-affecting" tag, and otherwise are not things that shouldn't apply to Undead or Plants if it comes from an ability they have.

Thank you guys. That helped me a lot.
