Does the Racial Heritage feat allow you to select the favored class bonuses of the race chosen?

Yes. Anything that lets you "count as another race" qualifies you for all "rules elements" associated with that race including, but not limited to, satisfying prerequisites, qualifying for racial qualities such as archetypes, racial spells, favored class bonuses, etc., "effects" concerning race (ie. Elves immunity to Ghoul paralysis, Goblinoid immunity to goblin dog dander, etc).

This makes me want to to make a Half-elf Orc-Blooded Sorcerer, with the racial heritage: dwarf feat.

Don't forget the Adopted trait.

Yeah, adopted by halflings!

EDIT: Sorry gnomes. You get no love.

Adopted just gives you a Race trait. A Race trait is subtype of traits, like Combat and Religion traits.

By the way, it is this FAQ, that has me asking this question.

Definitely seems so

Grand Lodge

At this point, it is not a definitive thing, either way.

This seems to be a valid FAQ candidate.

Grand Lodge

I am surprised this has not gotten more attention.

This has been a Frequently Asked Question amongst my groups, since the Half Elf/Orc FAQ about favored class bonuses.

Grand Lodge

If you have read this thread, and not hit the FAQ button next to the original post, I urge you to do so now.

Grand Lodge

As much attention as the Half Elf/Orc thing got, I figured this would gather a bit more, than it has.

I hadn't previously hit the FAQ button, because I thought your interpretation was so clearly correct.

It could still see table variance, and that is bad for things like PFS.

Which is why I hit the FAQ button when you asked for it :P

Just sort of repeating myself, I guess.
