Haraldir's arrow thuds squarely in LG4's chest, nearly knocking him over. He looks down at the fetching in shock.
Grazden methodically moves forward to attack the lone pirate, but misses
Hagrym moves around his dwarven companion as he tries to find a place within the fallen boxes. In doing so he has to move around the hard corner of the box stacks, leaving himself open to LG2 for an attack.
AoO LG2 vs Hagrym AC: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 141d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
The heaven glow radiates more brightly in Narvik's hands as he presses them upon Aerodus's chest. The tieflings eyes flicker open as he awakes.
Aerodus & Ash are up.
Ash - Eric de Vries
|
Ash moves a bit closer to his target before he unleases another burst of flame from his still burning hand, this time at the only thug standing on top of the crates
To hit touch AC of LG-4: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Fire Damage: 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11

Fully healed, Aerodus is ready to rejoin the fight.
Ash finishes off the LG4 with another spit of flame.
LG2 is feeling pretty saucy being able to stand up to two dwarves. He tries to cut down Hagrym with his cutlass.
LG2 cutlass vs Hagrym AC: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 161d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Hagrym dodges left when he should have juked right. The pirate's blade bites the warrior's bone. With a muffled cry of pain, Hagrym falls to the floor unconsciousness.
LG2 then tries to tumble away from the entangled Grazden.
LG2 Acrobatics vs Grazden's CMD: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
Don't know why you are still here. We're out manned, mate." can be heard across the stacks.
"I can't let you have all the fun," a new voice calls out in return.
Suddenly the pile full of boxes tumble and fall down upon Ash.
Ash Reflex: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Dmg: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Ash is unable to get out of the way of the toppled crates. He is crushed and knocked prone by their weight. Through the stacks, another grunt can be seen slapping his knee and giggling to himself.
Round 6
All Heroes Can Go
Haraldir
|
"Oh no, you don't!" - seeing another of his comrades falling to the floor, ranger goes into a cold rage. He could feel his pulse pumping faster and a familiar warmth spreading through his veins. His ears were pounding, but his hands were steady. Walking slowly he cocked another arrow, looking straight in the eyes of the pirate who felled Hagrym. His voice is even, almost detached: "We will kill every single last one of you, starting with this bastard here, unless you drop your weapons and surrender now."
And he let his arrow loose...

potential dmg. vs LG2: 1d8 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 1 + 2 = 9
Haraldir's "macho-talk" is only for show, he does not have Intimidate, and I am not expecting any effect - I just like the look of that scene.
Ash - Eric de Vries

Ash stands up, shaking a bit to clear his head from the impact. Seeing the person behind the stack of boxes which is giggling at his expends he snarls a bit and let's loose another burst of flame from his hand.

Mini-update! Note: I do little posts between big-and-fluffy posts to let people know when stuff hits, doesn't hit, enemies go down, transform into Time Dragons, etc. etc. I'll add fluff in the big post, but here, it's all mechanics.
Narvik Drak
|
Narvik will quickly limp over to the fallen Hagrym and this time will use his wand of Cure Light Wounds since it seems he'll be needing it often.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Hagrym PFS
|
Hagrym is now at 1 HP.
The dwarf opens his eyes and looks around. Without any hesitation, he casts one of his healing spells upon himself. If he can stand without drawing an AoO, he will do so. He rises to his feet, ready to get back in the battle.
CLW 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Used first 1st level spell of the day.

Huh, Neb never rolled the 2d4. What a 1-star mistake. 2d4 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5

Ash takes a few steps away from the crates then aims his burning hand at the grinning thug again
To hit touch AC of LG5 with cover: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 Ash suddendly realizes that he his small sized and should be better at aiming because of that

Haraldir

Seeing that pirate in front of him is seriously wounded, and that he dropped his weapon, ranger decides he is not "dangerous" at the moment, so he refocuses his attention on making his threat true.
"You, lie down!" - he barks to the wounded man in front of him (LG2) and then moves away towards Ash, readying another arrow while moving.

Grazden Moag
|
Bearing down on the cornered man Grazden raises his axe to carve him in two. However at the last second the dwarf notices the dropped cutlass and raised hands and pulls the swing sideways, coming within a fingers-width of the pirate.
As he pulls his swing, the rage deflates in Grazden like a balloon, and he shakes his head to clear it. Pushing the man to the floor he stalks past him in pursuit of the remaining pirates.
4/8 rage used, fatigued for 4 rounds.
Narvik Drak

Having completed his healing, Narvik will fire a crossbow bolt at the enemy (LG5)!

Hagrym PFS

Hagrym drops back to the ground. "Good job everyone. Is everyone alive," he laughs as he looks around and counts off the members. "We've got one of them alive. Let's find out what he can tell us about our Pirate."
Ash - Eric de Vries
|
Ash makes sure that all the pirates are secured; that their weapons and other items they have on them are removed before taking a look around the warehouse, letting the others do the talking for now.
Perception+Guidance: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20

If anyone has Heal, a few are more "bleeding out" than "dead," technically. The conscious guy is responsive immediately, though!
"So, yeah, you said you wanted to be pirates before, right? Well, I'd say you passed," the man on the ground notes, coughing up a little blood. "We here are lit'rl'y bottom of th' bar'l in rank, though I'm sure they've got us sittin' on some fancy stuff to plunder, if you get my meanin' cap'n."
Narvik Drak
|
Narvik can use his Sacred Touch to stabilize any of the pirates that need it. He'll tend to these men as the other question the conscious.
Ash - Eric de Vries
|
"Guys..I found a woman! Can we keep her? She seems unconscious, wonder what's wrong with her. Oh and there is a secret compartment in the floor over there. And I found some some flasks of acid (Ash holds up 3 flasks and a masterwork long sword) and a shiney sword a bit long for me though,I don't think it's magical though. Does anyone want any of this?"
Ash casts detect magic to take a look around, first at the compartment and then the woman before he tries to see what's wrong with the woman (assuming there is no magic aura surrounding her)
Heal check on the unconsious woman: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Hagrym PFS

"I don't suppose we got lucky and that little lady is Vudran, is she? If Alejia Netrav's crew turned against her and knocked her out, that might make the rest of our mission much easier."
Grazden Moag
|
Grazden stalks back to their prisoner and stares him down, rattling off questions without preamble.
How many more of you around? Where is your captain? What's in the secret hatch? Who's the woman?
Haraldir
|
"I could use one of those acid flasks Ash. You never know when one might need it" - ranger responds to gnomish druid, fetching one of the flasks (unless anyone mind). Small bottle quickly dissappears in one of his pockets, while the bow wielding human approaches unconcious woman.
He proceeds to pretend help Ash check on the woman, all the while paying close attention to the answers provided by a pirate Grazden was questioning.

#2 speaks up, still being conscious. "Aah! The four of us 'ere was all I knew of, barrin' any stowaways or pris'ners we've been neglected to be told 'bout! Cap'n might out of 'nother raid or somep'tin, not sure. 'S 'bove our pay grade. Any collectables you found back 'ere are above our heads; we're just paid to skulk the place and take our any s'pishous folk like yerselves. Heck, you, uh, take anything you find that's not junk, and, uh, we'd neve' know! If yeh, uh, get my drift..."
Hagrym PFS
|
"We need a bit more than that, Sparky. We need to find your Captain. Captain Netrav's been causing some trouble and we need to talk her into lying low for a bit."
| GM Burglar |
"Sor'y, I wouldn't know how ta find'er. 'S why I'm still a dock man." He says, with a smattering of fear. "She both sinks and burgles boats with no pattern, makin' her a slippery snake lady. If she's got any recent catches, then, askin' them might help...?" He suggests, obviously hoping to divert anger from himself.
Ash - Eric de Vries
|
Ash casts create water and gathers some of the water in a cup in his hands which he pours gently down the woman's troath, slowly so she doesn't choke...hoping to make her feel better and able to answer any questions we might want to ask her.
Narvik Drak
|
If needed, Narvik will use his wand of cure light wounds on the woman if it is needed to help revive or reserve any damage she has taken.
| GM Burglar |
The combination of giving the woman water and any amount of healing brings her to the world of the conscious. She speaks with an Andoran-accented Taldane as she tries to crawl backwards; "Aah! Mor- more pirates! S-stay back! I know magic! What... what do you want?"
-Posted with Wayfinder
Ash - Eric de Vries
|
" That's nice, I know magic too!. Wait?! What?!, there's more pirates?! We just fought a bunch of those..where are they? where are they? Let me at them!!"
Ash looks around the room and then back at the woman "Oh, you think we are pirates? Do you realy think I could look like a pirate? Don't you think I'm a little small to be a pirate? Maybe if I get an eyepatch? Do you think I'd look cool with an eyepatch?. Me and my friends are not pirates. My name is Ash, what is your name? Are you a pirate too?"
Ash extends a small sooth covered hand at the woman holding the cup he used to give her some water with in his other hand.
| GM Burglar |
"Oh... I'm no pirate. If you're not pirates, then who are you guys?" she says, accepting the hand up. She makes her way to the barrel Ash shot earlier that is still leaving fresh water and helps herself. "I'm Iatha Oedricius; a researcher Avistani history. What are you doing here?"
