The loremaster is a class that, in all cases, needs at least one knowledge skill focus. The perfect opportunity to take an eldritch heritage. I know it might not the best option to give a wizard (my expected base class) decent charisma, it's not awful, and gives some nice RP support. For a bard, this could be even better (though my build does not expect a bard). The base race would either be human (for focused study) or half-elf (for free skill focus)
So, I'm looking for a good eldritch heritage. Preferably following these conditions:
-Long-term use: A power that has a 3+cha uses per day isnt terribly useful
-Basis in a knowledge skill: obviously, it needs ot be based in a knowledge skill for the "skill focus" choice.
The loremaster secrets arent terribly powerful, but they are very useful; they basically simulate a lot of very good general purpose feats (save-boosting, ac boosting, etc.). Any feedback on their use would be appreciated.

I also found the perfect improved familiar for the loremaster: the pipefox. IT's in the beastiary 4, and is a little magical beast obssessed with knwoledge. I know it doesnt advance anymore, but it's still cool.
First ability ofthe imperious bloodline (stuent of humanity)could be thematically appropriate. Plus no 3+ cha uses. Still limited to skills, so less interesting. The 3rd level power could be cool, but I dont know what it would interact with.
Note: Best option seems to be a shadowcaster. It allows me to take universalist (to get the bonus feat of arcane crafter) without loosing too many spell slots. Plus now, my companion will continue to grow. It's GREAT!
