Grappling Druid

Advice

Hey, I'm building a druid for an upcoming campaign and I am somewhat at a loss for what feat(s) to take.

As a human, I took Improved Unarmed Strike and Improved Grapple at level 1. I know that I will be taking Powerful Shape at level 5, and I will probably be taking Planar Wild Shape and Greater Grapple at some point.

What other good feats are there? I know about some of them, (Rapid Grappler, the Backbreaker tree), but I can't take any of those at level 3, I don't think. I want to focus on the physical grappling side and take advantage of the huge wild shape size, but it seems like all the good feats need higher prerequisites.

Advice is welcome.

I would advice you to look at a few choice non-grappling feats. Sometimes, grappling just doesn't work, and in those cases you still need to contribute something to your party. I recommend power attack.

Consider a level of monk first (for all the free feats), then serpent shaman druid with a serpent (constrictor) companion. Further, summon a bunch of lesser animals with your Summon Nature's Ally to aid you in your grapples.

You wasted a couple of feats then.

You should have taken a few levels of Tetori Monk at some point. They're practically the grapple king. Between that and Lion form(free grabs with bite) from the Druid would be pretty significant.
