Shield Slam + Relentless

Is the +2 from relentless still added to the bull rush when the attack roll is subbed in for the maneuver check?

Shield Slam: Any opponents hit by your shield bash are also hit with a free bull rush attack, substituting your attack roll for the combat maneuver check (see Combat). This bull rush does not provoke an attack of opportunity. Opponents who cannot move back due to a wall or other surface are knocked prone after moving the maximum possible distance. You may choose to move with your target if you are able to take a 5-foot step or to spend an action to move this turn.

Relentless: Dwarves are skilled at pushing their way through a battlefield, tossing aside lesser foes with ease. Dwarves with this racial trait receive a +2 bonus on combat maneuver checks made to bull rush or overrun an opponent. This bonus only applies while both the dwarf and his opponent are standing on the ground. This racial trait replaces stability.

Yes.

Really? Can I ask why? Because I'm pretty sure it wouldn't.

Relentless adds to Combat Maneuver Checks and Shield Slam specifically replaces the Combat Maneuver Check with your attack roll instead.

Grand Lodge

It seems to still count as a Bull Rush attempt, so relevant bonuses should apply.

Also, effects from feats like Greater Bull Rush and Spiked Destroyer should still apply.

Unless, this is somehow a Bull Rush, that doesn't count as a Bull Rush.

Benefit: Any opponents hit by your shield bash are also hit with a free bull rush attack, substituting your attack roll for the combat maneuver check

i think no

Grand Lodge

Well, if relevant bonuses do not apply, then do other effects still apply?

I think all this is telling you is you don't roll the dice again. you keep what ever is on the dice, and then add all bonus apply to bull rush. So if you roll a 2 you keep the 2. for both the attack bull rush. add your total bonus. from appropriated feats and bonus.

if you don't add the bull rush feats you can actual end up with a much higher bull rush Attempted then you get by just using bull rush feats.

weapon training then gets added in, enhancement bonus, weapon focus, gloves of dueling, ects. Things that normal do not apply to bull rush. These extra's will dwarf what you can actual get with bull rush.

Dark Archive

your attack roll replaces the cmb.

cmb is not used in this at all, your total to hit was 25? then bull rush attempt of 25

yes, weapon training then gets added in, enhancement bonus, weapon focus, gloves of dueling, ects.

It's definitely a Bull Rush, so effects triggered by a Bull Rush apply, but no CMB Check is made, so effects triggered by a CMB check do not.
