Dazing Touch - say what?

One of my players is playing a Cleric of Calistria, and has chosen the Charm Domain. The Dazing Touch granted ability states:

Dazing Touch (Sp): You can cause a living creature to become dazed for 1 round as a melee touch attack. Creatures with more Hit Dice than your cleric level are unaffected. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier.

He's asking the following questions - can anyone help?

1. Does Dazing Touch allow a save? No where does it state that a save is required, but it seems to be unlikely that something like this doesn't have a save (which means you could lock down someone for X amount of rounds, where X is equal to 3 + Wisdom modifier).
2. If a character is the victim of a grapple, is this spell an auto-hit? Are all touch attacks auto-hit in that case?
3. Does a Spell-like ability (such as this) grant an attack of opportunity?

Thanks!

1. No. The downside is that you can only use it on creatures with the same or less HD than you. Good luck with that if you're fighting monsters and if you're fighting humanoids with less HD you probably don't need to stun lock them anyway.

2. No idea what RAW is here.

3. Spell-like abilities do provoke attacks of opportunity iirc.

What chaoseffect said is true, but in the case of grapples, touch attacks are not auto hits (although their dexterity is lowered by 4 while grappled, so touch attacks get an effective +2 to hit, maybe more depending on how the DM rules flanking while grappling).

While grappling, you normally lose your dexterity bonus to everyone not involved in the grapple, so they would essentially be hitting you flat-footed with a touch attack and a bonus.

Overall, the chance of not hitting is quite low :)
