question about bane weapons and half races

Okay say I have a half elf and I get attacked by something weilding a weapon that has bane humanoid (human) on it.
Does the bane effect go off?

Elf Blood: Half-elves count as both elves and humans for any effect related to race.

Yes, a human bane weapon or an elf bane would would deal the extra damage against you and function at +2 better against you.

It also works with Racial Heritage; a human with RH(Elf) would likewise be affected by Elf Bane weapons.
