I feel like this deed is powerful, but I don't see it. The only benefit I see is that you have less chance of a misfire when full-attacking, but that's not much of a benefit at the cost of a grit point. Overall, it seems like you're sacrificing damage.
Am I missing something here?
Do you get to add the bonus from gun training for each successful attack roll?

Cheaper than alchemy ammo (which reduces reload time to swift with rapid reload for one handed or move action if two handed)
Works best for two handers (if not taking Musket Master)Always a free action reload
Why wouldn't you get it? It adds to each attack (hit) as normal.
Have you ever ran a gunslinger?
The most common item is alchemy ammo as no one wants to waste a turn to shoot next turn. Combine with rapid short so to get 2 attacks/rd (by 3rd level, you can pull it off at 1st if human).
But alchemy ammo cost 1 gp (5 sp if crafting yourself I think is formula).
So you are basically shooting gold.
But Deadshot doesn't waste extra ammo so cheaper.

All the damage on all your shots goes through, and they count as one shot for the purposes of getting past damage reduction.
So if your first shot does 20 damage, your second shot does 15 damage, your third shot does 25 damage, and you're fighting a creature with 5/silver and good DR, then that's 55 (20+15+25-5) total damage you'll be doing, as opposed to 45 damage (20-5 + 15-5 + 25-5).
And that's assuming only one of the attack rolls hit. Even if the others are misfires! If only the first shot hit without using Dead Shot, it'd be 15 damage, end turn. If you misfired, you burn action economy as well (or grit, if you're Quick Clearing).
The exception to this being amazing is (if I recall correctly) is if you're lucky enough to roll a lot of criticals - in that case, Dead Shot won't be as good. Bit tough to beat several x4 criticals.

DR, DR & DR.
Once you fought something with an respectable DR (not one of those wimpy DR3 or DR5/silver types more like a treant with a DR10/slashing) you will learn to appreciate dead shot. Single shots aren't going to produce noticeable damage to a respectable DR, and if you cannot bypass it with silver or whatever you need to pool all the shots into one and let lose with a blast the beastie will feel. Ammo cost is also nice, if you've never run a gunslinger firearms are very good at converting gold into lead (6GP a shot for regular alchemical cartridges) and 100GP+ battles are not uncommon if you cannot get an abundant ammo spell.

The free action reload he is referring to is a misnomer. You do not reload as a free action; instead, you do not have to reload at all. If you roll 3 times and fire a single bullet, no reload was required, and you saved two bullets. If you fire three separate times, two reloads were required, and you used 3 bullets.
