I am heavily debating making a Monk(hungry ghost)/inquisitor(heretic)/rogue thug
I am looking for a god to worship for him?
I was thinking somethign along the lines of sarenra and say his intimidate tactics are not appreciated by the church heads.
I am more than willing to change if someone can think of something that would mechnically benefit him as well

Well the idea is to use intimdate and non-lethal damage(possible a very rough around the edges kind of guy). Since he is a heretic i would like him to be an outlier in the churchs acceptability.
If I did worship a good god I would killing as much as possible.
You should pick me as your god. Go ahead, I wont stop you from typing in "Taku Ooka Nin" under your god.
But--you can also try any of the neutral gods. Alignment comes into play here as well, but it isn't important for your chosen classes.
Pharasma could work since the hungry ghost arch is all about sapping the life of others, but so could Urgathoa, Norgorber, or Achaekek.

I do not know the gods very well, and ideas would be appreicated.

Irori would fit a monk/inquisitor multiclass. Are you starting out at level 1? If so, which class is your first?

My votes for Torag! However the best way to deal non lethal and intimidate is probably through saranrae, sword of Mercy+Enforcer. PFS is pretty hit or miss with how people handle things, so I'm not really sure who you could go with and still be happy without having a DM freak out for one reason or another. Nature of PUGs.

Irori's a baws. Always a good pick, especially for Monks.
Abadar's also pretty cool. And Abadar has access to the Travel Domain, so he's mechanically desirable as well. Unless you were planning on taking the Conversion Inquisition (which would be a good option). In which case Abadar's still COOL, he just won't affect your mechanics any.
Iomedae is a good fit for like a LN "Put the fear of goddess into them" type of character.
yeah I was looking at Imoedea and thinking of havigna filthy oni-born tielfing would be a good reason to be a heretic. I worship the god and his ideals but not man's ideals of him kinda thing.
Abadar I do not think would fit because the church is not allowed to fight within themselves.
i think i like the idea of something pushing the envolope.
Asmodeus - Serving Big A is always fun, and being a devil worshipper is less likely to disrupt party harmony in PFS. You could annoy other members of the church by beating enemies into submission rather than killing them. You could stay true to your faith by enslaving the foes afterwards though, perhaps reasoning that killing them would be a waste of slave labor.
Erastil - My Paladin/Bard wants you (and everybody else) to serve "Stag God". Erastil is a Lawful Good deity with the bow as his favored weapon, so an unarmed melee combatant who steals people's life force might be pretty controversial in his church. As an added plus, the Plant domain might help you raise your AC and damage a little with Barkskin and Wooden Fist.

I´d say there is a pretty broad spectrum of possible deities, from good to evil. Sure, some might seem a better fit, but I´d say go with whatever suits your character concept. For a neutral character, Abadar could work mechanically, although thematically I´d be tempted to go with Pharasma or Nethys (Nethys is mostly a deity of magic, but some of his themes can work very well for this character imo). I think Sarenrae can definitely work too, a more unorthodox interpretation of her faith can probably be very interesting for your character. Among the evil deities, Zon-Kuthon would probably be my thematic choice.
Personally, I´d be interested in seeing this work with Nethys thematically, given his dual focus on protection and destruction, and he seems to be a fairly rare sight as a patron deity. Some of his domains can work decently imo.

The shaman: I did not look at Nethys. yes, that is what I was thinking about the other gods you mentioned as well.
I do not know very much about golarian so the gods and such evade me.
