My wife is playing a sorceress who got her magical abilities after being exposed to gamma radiation in a technological ruin as a child. Her hair goes green in the presence of radiation and she goes all green when she gets angry.
Sorceress power source: Child of the Atom.
I have a lot of fun with this as the DM. She is basically a magic version of she-hulk.

The group I run for call themselves the Guardians of Numeria, and they are:
Rocco - male goblin wizard (spellslinger archetype)
Grit - ghoran brawler
Peter Quill, AKA Astro Baron - male human rogue (Numerian Scavenger archetype)
07-CB, AKA Constellation Bacon - female android warpriest of Torag
Biscuit Pylegory - male aasimar monk, and twin brother of Gravy
Gravy Pylegory - male aasimar summoner, and twin brother of Biscuit
El Pedo Rancid - Gravy's hulking luchador eidolon
They just hit 5th level and are nearing the end of Lords of Rust.

I'm GMing for a most unusual group. They're all aliens who were abducted by Silver Mount's crew and just released from stasis as the campaign started.
They're all custom races built with the race builder rules, so we have:
A giant rock-man unchained titan mauler, who will dual-wield absolutely anything.
A genderless unchained maneuver master monk.
A flying dhampir-gnome cleric of Yog Sottoth.
A Roswell grey occultist arcanist.
A nocturnal reptilian gunslinger/investigator who's picking up the role of the technology guy.
I'd probably play a pixie-like aerokineticist were I playing and not GMing.
