@ArmouredMonk13 - You don't pick a specific weapon with Snap Shot, though. It just says with a Ranged weapon that you have Weapon focus with.

The feat does not apply to a specific weapon or weapon group. Snap Shot is a feat that allows you to threaten those with a ranged weapon you have weapon focus with.

But if you take Martial Versatility (Weapon Focus [Pistol]), you'd apply it to all weapons of that group. Since a Pistol is a Firearm, and Martial Versatility applies that feat to all weapons in that weapon group (all one-handed, two-handed, and siege firearms), you could use Snap Shot with those weapons as well.

I'm confused as to why everyone is saying it can't be used with feats like Dervish Dance. I don't care much one way or the other, but it's not like we've seen any official word on this.

I'd have to say, if I had to guess, RAI, I'd say it wouldn't work with feats like DD, but I don't think it's clear cut enough to be said for sure one way or the other.

I personally find it usefuly, but you've got to pick the right weapon for it.

Like Daggers are light blades, close weapon and Thrown weapons.

So MV would apply to all three of those groups.

But if you have to choose a group, then yeah, poop on this feat.,

Cornugan trip and cornugan shield. Throwing dire/heavy flails sounds fun.

@tholomyes- i understand why people say/think it doesn't apply to dervish dance (because then it has to actually alter the text of the feat), but RAW it definitely seems like it should.
