Makeing a Gunslinger

Ok I am makeing a Gunslinger and it says that I can make black powder and bullets at 10% cost but with PFS rules we can't "make" things. So do i have to pay full price for the black powder and bullets or do I still get them at 10%cost? I am confused about that fact. Also can the Gunslinger still repair his own gun in PFS?

Ho boy.
Easy answer: replace "make" with "buy at a discount"
Example:
1 bullet at 1g becomes 1 bullet at 0.1 gold (or 1 silver)
1 dose of black powder at 10 gold becomes 1 gold.
So each standard bullet that you fire costs 1.1 gold in PFS.

Likewise, Alchemicals are 50% discount. And you need 1 rank in Craft: Alchemy.

On repair:
If broken yes. Takes 1 hour (unless you use Quick Clear).
If destroyed no. BUT you can pay an NPC to cast Make Whole (before you play a new scenario, the cost MUST be on the current chronicle sheet.) Or if you have a friendly PC who's willing to do so in game.

Thank you. This helps me a lot. I think I WILL make myself a gunslinger now. :)

You need 1 point in craft alchemy in order to buy bullets at the discounted price.

Yes, you can pay 300 gp to upgrade your starting gun to masterwork, no roll needed
