re: purchasing several wands using PP's
Once per session, you can acquire any single item of this cost or less from your faction by spending the appropriate number of Prestige Points. Items purchased this way are worth 0 gp and cannot be sold
(PFSoc Page 26 - Table 5.4, Note 3)
I don't know if this means for GM credit, you hav to buy 1 wand/chronicle or whether you can get lots of wands for PP off your first 9played) game sheet. I have always erred on the side of caution and done the former.

Unfortunately you do need to make all purchases at the table.
This is technically not true.
Where the PFSOPG indicates that purchases are supposed to be done at the table, Mike has said more than once that if you want to buy your items at home (or in between sessions), that is fine as long as you log it on your Inventory Tracking Sheet (ITS) and have it ready to show to the GM if he asks for it. And also, as Don said, mark it on your chronicle sheet on how much you’ve spent.
But I’ll be honest, I haven’t had a GM yet ask what I bought between sessions, even since the ITS has been implemented. Although I do, and will continue to, keep detailed information on my purchases on my ITS.

Once the chronicle sheet is signed, it is not supposed to be changed. So, your in-between session purchases go on your ITS, but you need to add them to the next chronicle sheet you get, not added to the previous chronicle sheet. That's what Sior means by "at the table."

Right, that’s what I meant by ‘mark on your chronicle sheet’ as well, at the next session. But really, all you actually need to add to the chronicle sheet is a general list of what you buy (3 potions, 1 belt, 1 ring, etc.) and put the price of the items.
The detailed information on what you buy is logged on the ITS.
