I want to play a Red Mantis Assassin

But since I can't in PFS I am wondering how to fake one.
Mostly I need help with the special abilities the RMA get like prayer attack, red mist, & summon mantis. I built a melee TWF for the signature blades and dinnae want to cherry pick multitudes of other classes. 'Tis fine if it is not an exact match, the character mimics the Red Mantis in his hunting of them.

I have a few ideas, but thought the generous crowd here would come up with something better. This is my GM Blob, I currently have up to sixth level to play with.

I've never played one, but wouldn't ninja skills help you look like an assassin? Vanish, etc.

I've given some thought to a legal pfs red mantis build though. I was thinking of going twf beastmaster ranger, then getting a mantis companion. Possibly try to go shadowdancer in thr later levels.

I had been thinking hypnotism from a sorcerer, the fascinate bardic performance. Since both of those are CHA casters, I was looking at paladin. Ranger opens up some options & I never considered ninja so looking at that now (but I dinnae currently have a UC).

I dinnae put this in advice as outside of PFS, I could take the actual prestige class.

Anyone else have suggestions?

The heavens oracle has a wicked revelation for spells like color spray and hypnotism

Combined with your undead blood sorc you coul even hypnotize some corporeal undead

Back to the task at hand, I would consider going the route of ranger. Especially since they are built for TWFing... But it depends on what you are going for. I do like the mix with ranger and bard... :p
