Advice

Soo the idea is to make next character focus mainly on fighting with javelins and thrown missiles; as such I figures to make her a barbarian in lieu of choosing Ranger or such. That would allow a fair amount of backup when it comes to health and melee ability. And then I had a silly idea -- why not make her go into being an arcane Archer. To do so she would have one level as an orc blooded sorcerer towards the start. Failing this they could go pure bard or rather than barbarian take fighter for more feats. Thoughts? How would you all go about this?

take the charging hurler rage power (or was it hurling charger--whatever, there's one for each), look into the hurling charger feat (and it's prereq who's name i forget). grab a belt of mighty hurling, and some muleback chords if you wanna just start chucking boulders. titan mauler could actually help, since im pretty sure improvised stuff is rather malleable on size. for javelins you'd definitely want throwing and possibly distance enchants later (since the belt gives them all returning)

lemme look up some of the thrower build suggestion threads ive got favorited...

gobo horde has got a collection of suggestions if memory serves.

By RAW, you have to be an elf or half-elf to be an Arcane Archer, and the various prereqs and abilities are all explicitly about bows and arrows. So by RAW, this is a non-starter. But I'm sure your GM is more understanding than that.

Javelins don't count as Ammo.
You'll need Quick Draw to retrieve them as a free action.

I believe they removed the race restriction for AA, so this shouldn't be a problem.

Shadow Lodge

The Myrmidarch archetype of Magus can also do interesting things with ranged weapons and spells. In fact, it was probably written with thrown weapons in mind.
