@Evrail and Anumil - it is possible I will not have room for you in the main group.
If you wish... there is a separate Jailbreak thread for the campaign. You would be surviving and escaping during a riot in your evil captor's prison. (one of the principal enemies in the homebrew) Your gear would be retrievable after an encounter or two. This would then lead your group to the original group, or vice versa... or strike out on your own. There are several ways we could rail your recent backgrounds to that point. Let me know what you think... here or PM.
EDIT: this would be on your own schedule... with the characters you have posted, or another if you wish.
It is cool if there is no room, do not want to force you to have a large group if you are not comfortable with larger groups. As for your story bit that works for me.

As the shadow mage in the homebrew I can say the storyline is quite interesting. Gothic horror and intrigue mixed together!
