Question on Mythic ArcMage's Arcane Potency

Rules Questions

Basically because of wording (extra spell slots) is this for prepared casters only, even though nothing in the description says only for prepared casters. Because this would be useful for Sorcerers as well as Wizards, Magi, or Witches. Thanks, FAQ if need be.

Anything?

One more time, I guess

Arcane Potency (Su): Choose one of your arcane spellcasting classes. You gain four bonus 1st-level arcane spell slots for that class (like the bonus spells gained from a high ability score). This ability doesn’t change your number of spells known. You can select this ability more than once. If you choose the same arcane spellcasting class a second time, you gain four bonus 2nd-level spell slots; if you choose it again, you gain 3rdlevel slots for choosing it a third time, and so on. This ability can’t grant you bonus spells for a spell level that you don’t have the ability to cast.

There is absolutely nothing there prohibiting spontaneous casters from taking, and benefiting, from it.

No, there's not. It should work as advertised for both Wizard and Sorcerer. Or, for that matter, Witch or Bard.

Or thanks. I was confused by the word "spell-slot" considering that spontaneous classes don't use slots like a prepared caster. Thanks though.

Spontaneous casters DO use spell slots.

At first level a Sorceror ahs 3 spell slots at level 1 plus any bonus spots for Charisma.

Spell Slots are the same as Spells per day. This allows him to cast more spells but does not increase his number of spells known.

Ok, I have always thought of spell slots for prepared caster, and spells per day for spontaneous casters. I had not until now considered them the same.
