Unarmed strike question

Rules Questions

Does a monk wielding a two handed weapon count as having a free hand for things such as deflect arrows or AoO?

Sorry Partyrico, you're either wielding the two handed weapon or you have a hand free. Same as a fighter who took the deflect arrow feat.

However you can always use a free action to take your hand off the weapon. This means you have a hand free for Deflect Arrow, Crane Wing, and any other ability or feat requiring it. If you do so you're only holding the two handed weapon and not 'wielding' it. Limiting you're attack of opportunity to Unarmed Strike since monks can make these attacks even with full hands.

No it does not.

One of your hands needs to be empty at the time of occurrence in the scenario. If not, then it's a no-go. You can drop your weapon or remove one hand from it as a Free action - Which means on your turn.

The above are correct
