Command undead.

Rules Questions

A character of mine is playing in an expanded Godsmouth Heresy complain.
On the top level, in the Runelord crypts, we found a bloody skeleton.
Of course, said character, being the only arcane caster in the group, used the wand of command undead on it.
Is this evil, in any shape, form or fashion?
I don't want to hear about "alignment descriptors", I want to know if, upon reaching level 4, he decides to take Command Undead as a known spell, would this be evil, in your opinion?

There are no rules that say the act is evil (or not evil).

In a word, no.

In more than a word, it would depend on what he did with said skeleton. Creating an undead is inherently evil in the rules, but commanding one that already exists is not.

Also, alignment descriptors are a rule of the game, and since you posted in Rules Questions, that's primarily the type of answers you're going to get. If you want a philosophical discussion, that's more the area of General Discussion.

Okay. I'm not planning on slaughtering innocents, so we're good.

Oops, forgot about that. My bad.
