Is there a feat that allows you to...

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Hi Im looking for a feat, I'm pretty sure it exists, that allows me to ask my GM questions relevant to the game and specific events.

I can't think of any feat that'll do this, but you should try investing in Knowledge skills. Particularly Local and History.

Dang well alright thanks, the reason I ask is because I want to make an investigator type character (truth inquisitor)

Have a look at the bard detective archetype.

This is covered in divination spells, and there are some feats that give bonuses to such spells, such as Fortune Teller from Inner Sea World Guide, but nothing that I can recall that gives this ability without spells.

Or the Rogue invetigator archetype.

I think the best investigator characters are either Master Spies or Sleepless Detectives, depending on the investigating you want to do. Those are both prestige classes though, and neither progresses inquisitor spellcasting.

I'm with Mister Fluffykins, this seems like the realm of skills over feats. I'd add search to the list though. As far as feats, alertness seems to fit the bill flavor wise if not crunch wise.

Investigator Rogue archetype. Roll twice on Gather Information checks.

Liberty's Edge

Mindchemist Lore oracle, then level to Commune.

I agree with Bard. In addition to the best knowledge skill in the game, they have the ability to learn things through their own spells, cleric spells through UMD, and diplomatic means with superior Charisma and the use of spells like Glibness.

so i found that feat
all it does is give you a hero point and boost your max to 5
i guess hero points let you ask things like that.
