Lesser restoration

Would lesser restoration mend broken bones or would you need actual restoration for that

You're already in "house rules territory" here, since there aren't any broken bones in the written rules... just hit point damage, which lesser restoration doesn't address at all.

There is in the new ap

Grand Lodge

Neither is really the right spell. Looking back into the game's history, you could require cure serious wounds or higher, counting the broken bone as some amount of hit points (say 10) that must be spent on knitting the break rather than standard healing. Heal should fix it immediately.

Sovereign Court

Well broken bones aren't really a mechanical part of the main game. Damage doesn't get into that kind of detail so it'd be whatever your particular game was looking to do. You'd probably need either time or a Regeneration spell in some games and only a Cure Light Wounds spell in others.

If your using the Called Shots optional rules from Ultimate Combat the effects that debilitate limbs deal ability damage. Lesser Restoration specifically dispels magical effects reducing ability scores, cures temporary ability damage or reduces fatigue so that should be enough in that optional system to repair a bit of that damage.

Then the new AP should say how to repair it, just as a GM should if he introduces a newly invented status effect.

Even the AP doesn't have rules for broken bones. And states that Regenerate is required for full recovery.

Could you quote the text in question? I'm not familiar with it.

Worldwound Incursion Spoiler:

If she’s completely healed to full hit points; this automatically
makes her attitude helpful, her leg mends enough that she
can walk without a crutch, yet until she receives a regenerate
spell, she won’t be able to move at full speed.

It specifies which spell it requires, OP may have misread it.

If it says restoration is required, then that's what's required. If it says that regenerate is what's required, then that's what's required.

The concept of a broken bone doesn't exist in the rules, so if the AP has such an effect, it will say exactly what must be done to remove it... and it will mean what it says.

I'm not familiar with lesser regenerate. Regenerate is a 7th level spell. That is the spell required.

There is no "lesser regenerate." Regenerate and Restoration are separate spells.

Sovereign Court

Ahhh, that's where the confusion is. Looks like if you want that leg totally fixed up it's a Regenerate spell to do it.
