Draconic disciple question (water)

Hi,

If one becomes a DD of a dragon type that has a water subtype (which is what, black or bronze I think), is there a way for the draconic disciple to gain the water subtype? I've been thinking this over, and I haven't come up with anything; I figured I'd see if anyone could point out something I missed.

Not that I know of, but Merfolk have the aquatic subtype.
