Still working on the back story, but looking for some help on the build mechanics.
Abilities are 2d6+6 arrange as desired. I got this fairly crappy array 13, 12, 12, 11, 10, 9. But he is letting me use the fairly high powered fetchling race. So I think it will be ok. Shadow caller who will use his eidolon mostly as a scout. For combat he would dismiss the eidolon
So I’m thinking:
Str 9, Dex 14(12+2), Con 11, Int 12, Wis 8(10-2), Cha 15(13+2)
Use eidolon mostly as a scout
Dismiss eidolon and summon shadow creatures for combat
Considering the Emissary, Gloom Shimmer, and Subtle Manipulator alternate racial traits.
Definitely the racial favored class option.
We only get 1 trait and I haven’t picked that yet.
Seems almost necessary to take spell focus conjuration at 1st and augment summoning at 3rd.
Was considering skill focus stealth at 5th and eldritch heritage shadow bloodline at 7th. It really fits the concept, but really doesn't give me a whole lot.
4th level +1 con
8th level +1 cha
Any ideas?

Your eidolon is almost certainly going to be better at combat than a summon, especially at either low or high levels. You can always summon random monsters when it dies or use spell slots. I would just go straight for Cha at 4th. You don't necessarily need augment summoning, especially since the coolest summons (shadows) use neither str nor con. This seems like a great build to use your low stats, though.

If you want to focus on summoning monsters instead of your eidolon, have you considered the Master Summoner archetype? You can summon multiple creatures and as a result have a lesser eidolon. Plus you get FREE augment summoning at level 2 instead of bond senses. You could ask your gm if he will let the 2 archetypes overlap, having your eidolon be a shadow, but also be lesser, and have your summon monsters be the same as the shadow caller and have the extra uses of the sla.

Even if I build the eidolon for stealth, you think it would still fight better?
If I don't take augment summoning, which feats would you recommend? If you want to focus on summoning monsters instead of your eidolon, have you considered the Master Summoner archetype? Pretty sure he's not going to let me combine 2 powerful archtypes on top of a powerful race. So I will stick with the shodow caller since it is just too kool with the fetchling.

Ok, Guess I'm looking at so far is:
Fetchling: Emissary and Subtle Manipulator
Trait: Fast Talker (bluff class skill)
Feat:
1) Extra Evolution
3) Defending Eidolon
5) Extra Evolution
7) ?
Skills: 1 rank in UMD, Stealth, and Bluff
I don't know if wands and scrolls and stuff will be very plentiful, so I won't put a lot in UMD. Unless of course I'm wrong and we do get alot.
I'll max stealth and then put 1 in each of the other class skills. Then raise perception.
Spells:
0) acid splash, detect magic, guidance, open/close
1) protection from evil, infernal healing (this will work on both me and my eidolon right?)
Not sure what to pick later.
Eidolon with Serpentine body
Evolutions:
small size
shadow blend
skilled stealth
skilled perception

The GM has ruled that for this campaign only stuff in the PRD and infernal healing is not in the PRD. So I will switch that for rejuvinate eidolon, lesser. Not sure adequate healing will be available (CLW wands may be scarce) to count on it for my eidolon.
Man, not used to making first level characters with little money, skills, and spells known. Kinda aggrevating.
We start tomorrow. So if anyone has other ideas, let me know.
