Nesod: Now, Now let's not metagame...also AMH has not put the ring on yet.

TAK: You are quite correct, There will be travel after I let you guys blow off some steam in town.

Nasty: That remains to be seen...you are all a loooooooonngggg ways away from BOORDOR!

Scarab Sages

"Steam?"

Tvashtri looks down at his mechanicals, and his mind's eye superimposes a whistling teapot over their innards.

"Now that IS a fascinating idea...."

Wait. I have one ring. Maybe it's THE one ring. I bet if I put it on I'll be as powerful as Sauron.

Erm. Booraun.

I put it on.

"if you are powerful does that mean you can make me some food? I would like a ham cheese omelet please."

Heel greedy guts. You have had too much already while the rest of us have starved.

Erm. Booraun.

I put it on.

Are you sure

Scarab Sages

Hmm, my stupid-sense is tingling; I had better think - and move - quickly!

I attempt to swipe the ring and swap it out with a golden flange nut.

Sleight of Hand: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22

Greedy bastard, I never let anyone touch my stuff: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (4) + 19 = 23

Of course I put it on! I want to be as powerful as Sauron!

Edit: Booraun!

Sovereign Court

Everyone: AMH vanishes right in front of you all with one of those cool "Vuuuup" sounds.

AMH:

Spoiler:
As you look around, your compatriots seem to be talking in muted tones seemingly confused. The world around you appears in black and white. The ring fits you perfectly as well as giving you a comforting feeling

You all hear your beloved healer's voice speak, although you cannot see him.

HAHAHAHA! Bow before me, mortals!

Well, that takes care of that annoyance. Onto the next adventure.

"No no no, Alissa. AMH is our healer now, he'll be awesome at healing us. Won't you, AMH?"

I thought rings of annihilation destroyed themselves when they were put on.

Too Bad about the healer though.

"I thought he was going to make me an omelet with hos new ring? Where did he go? Does that mean I don't get my omelet now?" he pouts.

Sovereign Court

It looks as though I will not have to do a whole lot of corruption of the soul stuff with the healer.

I'm just f!*$ing with you guys. This ring is hella cool though.

I take it off and put it on a chain around my neck so I don't lose it.

Corruption? Because of a ring? Seriously, professor, we're here to play fantasy, not indulge in stupid newfangled concepts. Get your act together! :-)

AMH Very nice choice

Jenny Pardon an old man his indulgences.

So what now?

Now you die servant of evil.

Right?

Well you kids are off to divenrell for some fun frivolity and to rest up for your journey to...BOORDOR and MT. BOOM.

We can go to Mt. Boom if you all want, but I'm not parting with this ring. It's my share of the treasure.

If you want, we can find some other shitty ring to throw in a volcano.

AH EXCELLENT, BRING ME MY RING THRALL

Don't sweat it, we are not following the story verbatim

Riv... divenrell sounds good. Diversions, here we come.

Sweet! Do I get to bash elves?

I heard Divenrell was full of fiendish goblins? Or was that last year, after their magic festival?

"Are those the elves they dip in sugar and spices and soak in mead? I love those. Or the goblins drowned in alcohol and set alight called Smoked fiery ankle bites. Those are good too. "

He wipes some drool from his mouth.

Sovereign Court

This Divenrell is a larger city with all races represented (yes even the oozefolk, we don't discriminate in the north man).Anything and everything is available

Well, I will be leaving now. I stayed longer than I intended to.
You guys and gals have fun.

Goodbye to bad rubbish.

"Bye Schism. Does that mean Alissa you are our leader again?"

Liberty's Edge

I'm liking Divenrell. Can I purchase a map of the city?

Only if I have to be, Nasty.

Sovereign Court

Nesod. Sure as soon as you arrive.

Liberty's Edge

I'm counting down the minutes until someone tries to sell us a bridge.

Scarab Sages

"How long can we expect the journey to take?"

Sovereign Court

A Day

Are we there yet?

Not yet, AMH.

Sovereign Court

AM HEALER wrote:

turns around and gives AMH the evil eye from the front seat

whenever you guys are ready we'll get there

I want to stop a a town on the way. I need to pick up a couple of things.

You want to stop at a town on the way to Divenrell?, There is nothing but wilderness until you reach the gates of Divenrell.

Sovereign Court

As you all round a corner you get your first glance at Divenrell.

Raised on a mound, The city of Divenrell is home to all races currently lead by Lady Gedman. The city was not built on a mound by accident, as it has magical properties, which is of great importance to the people of Divenrell.

The city itself looks grandoise. With it's wheat straw rooftops, willow wood walls and luscious gardens, Divenrell has an inviting atmosphere. The main attraction is the cathedral, which was built 340 years ago and designed by giants.

Divenrell has a progressing economy, which is mainly supported by animal training, trade and medicine. But their biggest strength is prosperous mining and trading.

Scarab Sages

Tvashtri has been hard at work on a new mechanical while traveling....

Clockwork Creation check VS DC 21: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (15) + 15 = 30

...and what appears to be a tiny copper efreet joins his clockwork coterie.

Scarab Sages

He also attempts to upgrade his Ouroubourocyclos....

Clockwork Creation check VS DC 22: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (1) + 15 = 16

OH THE HUMANITY!

shell damage: 2d10 ⇒ (10, 5) = 15
mechanism damage: 3d4 ⇒ (3, 2, 3) = 8

The silver serpent explodes into dozens and dozens of silver fragments and clockwork components, and Tvashtri observes a sad moment of silence for his fallen companion before salvaging what he can.

salvaging shell: 10d10 ⇒ (1, 2, 4, 8, 4, 10, 3, 3, 2, 8) = 45
28.6 gp worth of worked silver salvaged from shell and shell upgrade.
salvaging mechanism: 10d10 ⇒ (2, 4, 6, 2, 2, 7, 6, 10, 8, 4) = 51
540.6 gp worth of spare parts salvaged from mechanism and mechanism upgrade.

Sovereign Court

TAK Why don't we say that you recovered enough parts to fix it no neued to roll.

"WOW a city full of people and things to eat."

drool starts to pool as he stands fantasying about all the different things he can eat here.

"Boss can I go get something to eat? I am going to hang out with AM Healer he will keep me out of trouble right? I mean it was Nesod who caused the whole bard debacle."

Debacle, Nasty? Wherever did you pick up such a sophisticated word?

Yes, you can go get something to eat greedy guts.
But remember, you can only eat while you are at an inn; and only what is on the menu. NOTHING ELSE!

And no eating the menu either.

Iam going to seek out some oozefolk.

Sovereign Court

Alissa/ Nasty. After asking around, there are 2 inns that meet your discrimanating tastes.

The Outraged Fish or The Cleric and The Harpy.

I love naming taverns

Jenny. You will have no problem finding Oozetown
