Nasty looks down at Monchhichi. "Ha ha you throw me? You no be able to pick me up."

"Me throw you again?"

He reaches out to grab Nesod and moves to throw him down the hall towards the golden door.

Grapple: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (17) + 18 = 35

Throw: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27

Sovereign Court

Hey folks, IT is working on our computers and I have been unable to post for a couple of days. Hopefully they will have this all figured out manana. Posting from the phone sucks

Nesod: You fly for 25' would you like to make an acrobatics check to land on your feet?

It's okay, Nesod. I will heal you. I have lots of cure spells left.

Scarab Sages

It's probably just AM HEALER's imagination, but the ticking, scuttling, and spinning sounds rising from near his feet seem to have taken on a certain plaintive edge, reminding him he's already got someone in dire need of his aid.

You need healing, too? If you've got the coin, I've got the heals.

What?

That's not how this works?

Oh fine 2d8 + 6 ⇒ (5, 4) + 6 = 15

I should have stayed in law school.

Scarab Sages

Tvashtri jerks up at a perfect 90-degree angle, still covered in vicious wounds but alive and alert. A sudden burst of ticks erupts from his mechanicals.

"I thank you, my friend! What has happened?"

Liberty's Edge

I fail my acrobatics check. DR don't fail me now!

Sovereign Court

Nesod don't sweat it that was just to land on your feet

Continuing after the body thief.

Watching Alissa's back.

Sovereign Court

Alissa: About 50' ahead of you is a golden door.

I quickly turn back to humanoid shape and turn toward the ivory head/skull.
"Uhmmm... this is kind of awkward... we kinda have to run, so if you just stay put here, do some handicraft... err... practice whistling or something... we'll be right back to put you down. Okay?"
With that, I follow the others.

Scarab Sages

Tvashtri tries to get up, but winces in pain as he does so. Though his worst wounds have healed, he is still lacerated and traumatized. He looks around at AM HEALER.

"If you would be so kind?"

Checking Golden Door for traps.: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (11) + 15 = 26

Sovereign Court

Schism you detect a trap on the door

Disable Trap: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (2) + 15 = 17

Sovereign Court

Schism You just manage to disable the needle trap on the door.

Yea, it's me. Am Sorcerer Too's other persona. I haven't disappeared by my cell phone and iPad are driving me crazy. I hope to have the situation solved soon. If not, then I'm must wait until mid-December and rely on my desktop to push my way through the Tomb. Not gone, but money matters are taking priority I shall stay with the party until otherwise.

With that, the pigeon flies downs the opposite corridor.

Sovereign Court

Hey no problem AMS, I am still trying to adjust to the fact that paizo is now blocked at work and I must soldier on via smartphone, I also discovered I need glasses badly.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

But you are already wearing glasses.

Nasty looks at Schism.

"Me open door now?"

Sovereign Court

this is how blind I am I can't even see the glasses on my own face.

Go ahead nasty.

Liberty's Edge

I will be going on a school trip Friday through Sunday. I stick behind the Orc.

"Wait a second...I thought Orcs were supposed to be evil in Tolkien timey-times! what's HE doing here? Not that I'm complaining, but still. If he starts dual-wielding scimitars, I'm out of here."

Sovereign Court

I think he gave up evil for Lent ...or food

As much as he has eaten while in the party, I would definately say food.

Is the undead guy really complaining about the orc in the party?

Also, Tvashtri: walk it off.

Scarab Sages

Tvashtri, looks at AM HEALER, then at his remaining wounds.

AM HEALER, he calls himself! At least I have companions I *know* I can rely on...

Tvashtri's silver oroboros wheels round in front of him, flares up in a fearsome red glow, and his wounds begin knitting.

Dude, I hope your wounds knit me a scarf.

Sovereign Court

Ooooh a scarf, could I get one to. These old bones could use a little warmth

Scarab Sages

Mechanicals in tow, Tvashtri advances cautiously toward the door he realizes everyone else's attention is presently fixed on.

He notices a stream of dark blood that has been seeping from his wounds has congealed into something surprisingly reminiscent of a beaded scarf. He hands it to JRR Tolkien.

Sovereign Court

A bloody beaded scarf, just for me. I do love the holiday season

Liberty's Edge

What the heck did I miss?

No idea. I think we are waiting for Nasty to open the door.

Nasty opens the door. weapon at the ready.

Sovereign Court

cool I'll post a big long description tonight

Sovereign Court

Beyond the door lies an immense room(100' x 100') brightly lit with shining golden globes suspended from the ceiling. Centered in the room is a square pit(90' x 90'), filled to the top with thousands upon thousands of glistening gold keys. A soiled red cloth the size of a handkerchief extends from the key mound in the center of the pit.

Your attention is drawn to a low humming coming from the north wall. The humming increases in intensity becoming so loud that it drills into your brain as a 10' x 10' section begins to glow. As the humming builds to a painful crescendo, streams of white light flare from the glowing square, and the humming stops.

The wall section is gone. Standing in the opening is a woman looking like Alissa, except she has the head of a cockroach, twitching black antennae, a pair of bulbous golden eyeballs, and wisps of long black hair growing from her shiny scalp. She wears a tattered scarlet robe and carries a glowing silver rod in her clawed hand, you see many lichlings just as hideous cower behind her.

The woman steps through the opening, the other creatures follow her closely You seek treasure she says in a raspy cockroachy voice I bring you a gift far more valuable than gold and gems.

With that the keys in the pit explode everywhere and rising out of the pit is a 4 armed 80' tall lichling.

"Uhhhh... wow, you guys. That can't be good."

I cast grease just as it sets down its foot. 80' tall means falling damage.

Is that the body thief, or someone else?

Sovereign Court

Jenny. ref: 1d20 ⇒ 6...timber 1d4 ⇒ 1 the bug slips and falls backwards.it hits the wall and begins sliding down on top of the evil people

Alissa. Yes she changes her face more than you!

YOU ARE GOING TO PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID TO ME!

Nasty takes advantage of the giant falling and attacks.

AXE SMASH: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (12) + 13 = 252d6 + 13 ⇒ (6, 5) + 13 = 24

Tongue grapple: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (16) + 20 = 36

"FOR THE DEVOURERERer !!!!!"

Scarab Sages

Tvashtri gazes upon the giant lichling, visibly impressed.

"This would be a fine gift, indeed - but I suspect you do not mean for us to control it. Please, we simply must repay you in kind!"

With that, he aims his crossbow at the giant...

crossbow: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 damage: 1d10 ⇒ 8

...and sadly, he jerks it upward with uncharacteristic clumsiness, and it winds up firing at the ceiling.

Bolt retrievable? High is good: 1d100 ⇒ 27

The bolt is embedded in the ceiling like a student's overenthusiastically-tossed pencil.

Minimus Macabre's free arm jerks upward and projects a cold white beam at it...

disrupt undead: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12 positive energy damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2

...and Ouroboroucyclos emits a blazing beam from the loop its form creates.

scorching ray: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12 fire damage: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 5, 5) = 17

Liberty's Edge

Sneak Attack: 1d6 ⇒ 2

Charge Attack: 1d20 + 2 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 2 + 9 = 28

Knife 2: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
Sneak Attack: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 3, 4) = 13
If both knives hit.
Assassinate: 2d6 + 12 + 4d6 ⇒ (5, 4) + 12 + (3, 6, 5, 1) = 36

Sovereign Court

The large bug sits on his butt after taking the brutal onslaught from you all. But still lives. It unleashes it's breath weapon a huge cone of bone shards. Please make a ref save(DC 17) for half or take 4d10 ⇒ (3, 4, 5, 3) = 15...That's pretty pathetic

Mean while Evil Alissa sends her bugs forward and points her wand at Good Alissa Now you die, Hahahahahahahahaha 6d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 1, 6, 3, 5) = 21 ref 17 for half as a bolt of electricity shoots toward you.
