Shattered Star question

Shattered Star

I heard that Scattered Star Adventure Path it's somehow a sequel to Rise of the Runelords. In Rise of the Runelords the players fight Karzoug Runelord of Greed and Transmutation.

So I was wondering...

In Scattered Star, do players fight more runelords? If so, which of them?

It's "Shattered Star." That AP is a sequel to RotRL because it assumes that the events of RotRL (as well as those of Second Darkness and Curse of the Crimson Throne) have already taken place, and those events are referred to in Shattered Star.

No, the theme, plot and tone of Shattered Star are quite different from RotRL. But whether any actual Runelords appear in the game, well, that's the question, isn't it?

Answer to the Question. Seriously, Don't Read This.:
No. But they do fight more than one person who believes themselves to be a Runelord. What they do fight is the Runelord's old boss, First King Xin.

Shattered Star always seems more about tragedy and tragic figures than just simple good vs evil.
It's always a blast because sometimes it's really really really difficult to actually go and kill a character, especially for my half-orc redeemer paladin. Why? The circumstances of their villainy are not always their own choice.
The game makes for some really good moral dilemmas. Especially for the good guys.

Ok. Thanks for the input.
