So I just recently finished Dishonored, great game BTW, and feel a little inspired. I may be starting a Gestalt game soon, and if so would like to make a Sorcerer/Rogue in a similar vein as Corvo Attono. As such, I would want to give him a mask, any ideas as to how I could find rules governing the wearing of masks? I wouldn't want any of the magic ones I've seen, as I want to make my own custom magic items.

I agree that a masked hero is a great concept, but you need to allow for the monkey-like inquisitiveness of your fellow PCs. If you don't take your mask off in front of them, in order to seem mysterious or protect your identity or whatever, they'll get really nosy. Either the mask will be yanked off as you sleep, or whatever terrible consequences you set up to prevent enemies from yanking off the mask will happen to somebody else in the party (who will then act as if your "paranoia," not his lack of common courtesy and improper grasp of the concept of personal space, is the reason his character is now in eight pieces.)
For safety's sake, I suggest two masks: a large outer one that's safe to remove, and a smaller inner one (with whatever wards you like in place on it) with "Nope!" written across its forehead.

Like just wearing a mundane mask? Wouldnt that just be part of a disguise kit? Masks also appear under clothing in ultimate equipment. What exactly are you looking for in terms of rules for wearing a mask? Also lincoln hills comment about nosey party members is probably a fair warning. I've seen it a fair amount when someone has tried to hide that they are some kind of undesirable race by hiding their face (like drow or something).
