I'm all for annexing Canada. Australia sounds like a good idea as well. Let's do it. Add me to the petition. But can we rename Saskatchewan to New Obama? Most Americans will have a hard time pronouncing Saskatchewan let alone spelling it without google to help them or (heaven forbid) finding it on a map.
I'm equally in favor of the North East US (including PA and NJ), Michigan and Illnois as well as the west coast succeeding from the US and joining Canada.

Yeah, but you could be on the side of the winning teams in basketball and hockey, so there's a payoff there.The Yanks and Canadians dont play Rugby or Cricket and that's not going to help us smash the Poms, Kiwis, or SAs in either of those sports and judging by the way we have been playing we need all the help we can get.
So my vote is no... I suggest we spend the money trying to clone Sir Donald Bradman and the Rugby squads that won the world cup.
But the British, New Zealnders and South Africans don't play basketball or hockey and we won't get the satisfaction of crushing them and being terrible sports and rubbing their noses in it......
Then again after checking the scores in the cricket, basketball and hockey are becoming more appealing.....

It was not that long ago that Shane Warne had the English team so damaged they needed psychological help to deel with their inferiority. It was not that long ago Australia was so good at cricket that it was embarrassing and I started supporting the West Indies because, I knew that they would not win every game.
Similarly with rugby... Nick Farr-Jones, Michael Lynagh, and Campo...
The Rugby world is very lucky that the majority of Rugby players in Australia play league rather than Union, because the with the league talent we could field 3 international teams.
