Barb to rage prophet a journey

Advice

Alright, I reread many of the oracle mysteries and can't think of many that really mesh well and my original plan didn't work well. I want him to be a frontliner/secondary for the most part.

It will be for PFS. Was going 4 barb/3 oracle (revelation x2)/rp. I was considering battle to get the enlarge person as the spell so that I could use a wand freely, and taking some revelations that turned out to require higher level to get, so my initial idea hit a speed bump.

Right now he is lvl 1 barb, about to lvl to 2 which I was going to take oracle in. I can still change somethings about him.
Half orc
STR 16 (racial)
Dex 14
con 14
int 10
wis 10
cha 14

Traits:indomitable faith, magic knack (nonnegotiable)
Feat: Toughness
Lame for curse
revelation:?
Spells:
0 ?
1 ?

Any advice?

Can you list what isn't working out? What are the key revelations that you couldn't get? What are some key points to the character that you want?

As i said, basically a frontliner, with the oracle abilities to boost...he thinks the spirits are giving him these powers. Not a buffer for the party persay, more of a "my rage gives me these strengths" type thing.

The key revelations were ones like stone skin...which you can't get till lvl 7 oracle, and weapon mastery which really doesn't get the improved crit till lvl 12 ecl and was almost essential (falchion user). So I was wondering if there might be a better mystery to go about, or revelations...battle cry is nice. Most of the abilities though I won't get the secondary portion till approx lvl 11 ecl, thats with the rest of the lvls past 6/7 are straight RP

And I liked the enlarge person additional spell so I could use the wand w/o UMD

So I guess this is like a help me build it.

Was looking at life oracle for the channel, and ability to cast cure spell without AoO, so make it palain esq...but more angry

For PFS, planning on abilities that require level 11 and 12 is a waste. The play life of the character is basically finished. These can never be key parts to any build, unfortunately.

The battle mystery works well with being a front-liner. I recommend you stick with that. Your stats look fine to me. Human might offer a faster start-up pending a feat path preference.

Revelations:
- War Sight (going first is really nice)
- Weapon Mastery (just think of it as Weapon Focus the feat)
- Surprising Charge (once per day movement, in PFS limited environment, can come in handy)

I would recommend level 4 oracle instead of level 4 barbarian. A whole new level of spells really adds to the spell casting ability. Further, with Magical Knack, you'll hit the sweet spot for Divine Favor sooner.

Spells:
- Divine Favor
- Bless
- Shield of Faith
- ??? (there is some uber +5 to hit or something 2nd level spell that I can't recall the name of that is quick to cast)

Feats: Pick a Niche
- Power Attack (human)
- Cleave (1st)
- Cleaving Finish (3rd)
- Combat Reflexes (5th)

An option, if Rage Prophet isn't required, and you are content with just its simulation, then go Cleric instead of Oracle and pick up the Plant Domain with the Growth Sub-Domain. You'll be able to swift action enlarge person yourself. Pick the Animal Domain as your second domain (Erastil as your god?) and you'll have a nifty animal companion at level 4 cleric. Take 1 level of Barbarian and then straight cleric and I think you'll have your "Rage Prophet"?

Considering that you listed the Life Oracle for Channel as having merit, then cleric might be exceptionally good for you.

Wood make a surprisingly good mystery for a multi-classed oracle. Within the first few levels you can get Wood Bond, Wooden Weapon, as well as the spells Shillelagh and Barkskin. Use a greatclub and you can be doing a lot of damage even if you're only taking four levels of oracle.

That doesn't sound bad, was going lvl 4 barb for the extra bab, and rage power anyways.

So Barb 2
power-clarity of mind

Oracle 4
revelation-weapon mastery/battle cry
revelation-war sight/battle cry

(a +1 to saves attacks and skill checks not bad, so up for thinking about...does it stack with bless?)

and then Rage prophet

Feats:
1st Toughness ( I like life)
3rd Power attack
5th cleave

spells
divine favor
bless or shield of faith

He uses little armor right now to affor the full movement of 30 (with lame) and will later be buying a mithril kikku.

doing lvl 1 barb (full hp, bab1) then 1 or/1barb/3 or/7rp using falchion mostly...gear will be more str focused, with con and dex second, I'm comfortable with the cha where its at. gives me a little to my intimidate and that will be the max of spells I can cast anyways.

Scarab Sages

Wood, Battle, and (surprisingly) Life mysteries are all great for Rage Prophets. With the right revelations, a Rage Prophet with the Life mystery can be virtually indestructible.
