So I need to make a 3rd lvl character and I was thinking of making a sand witch. And I thought i would tap the knowledge of the pathfinder forum elders, and everyone else. She doesn't need to be a witch per-se, but i think a female arcane caster would fit the build such as sorceress or wizard, maybe even a divine caster. Since I cannot find a specific "sand" field maybe go more desert theme? Fire like spells? Ground focus spells? Maybe a mix for a control/dmg char?

You can do alot with just thematic fluff and no crunch...
all your spells can have a visual with sand involved...
Summon monster? - looks like a sand version -again no crunch
Magic missile---and biting spray of sand shoots from your hands.
Flaming hands -similar to above.
Invisibility? - you appear to dissolve into sand and scatter on the wind.
WOrk with your DM to adjust other spells....but again I would rule that it doesn't add any ingame effect..

The curses Fury of the Sun, Cup of Dust, and Sands of Time spring to mind, and are all on the witch spell list. Not exactly great in-combat spells but I really like them.
Could go hex magus either, since they add all curses to their spell list. Go the whole fire scimitar wielding magus way.
Maybe could make use of polymorph spells for some desert-themed transformations?
