Sorry if this is posted elsewhere but I couldn't find it with a quick search.
I have a character in my group who has the above build. They are currently 14th level with the Epic point buy. That being said, this character is able to achieve incredible amounts of damage. RAW, is this even allowed? The wording on the Giant Fist Gauntlets is a little vague. Here is the text from d20pfsrd:
"As a swift action, the wearer of these rough leather gauntlets can expand her hands to twice normal size and harden to the consistency of hardwood. This transformation lasts for up to 20 rounds per day, though they need not be consecutive rounds. If the wearer hits with an unarmed strike or natural attack using her enlarged hands, she may attempt to bull rush her opponent as a free action."
Does the wearer's attack damage go up a size like suggested or does this only confer a free bull rush? Hell, the text might suggest that the damage dice go up TWO sizes (but this, I doubt seriously).
Anybody have this issue or could provide some insight into its validity?

im pretty sure it would say damage or damage dice or something if it increased damage.
as per your quote, it doesnt say anything like that. so just a bull rush attempt and possibly hardwood toughness if that would factor into anything.
sorta reminds me of stone fist and wooden fist...wooden fist increases damage by 1, stone fist just increases hardness...no damage...weird but there it is.

Hmm.
Here are some examples of what would make your damage bigger:
Hands of Stone
"At 7th level, a Brother of the Seal increases his unarmed strike damage as though he were a creature one size larger."
Strong Jaw
"Laying a hand upon an allied creature's jaw, claws, tentacles, or other natural weapons, you enhance the power of that creature's natural attacks. Each natural attack that creature makes deals damage as if the creature were two sizes larger than it actually is. If the creature is already Gargantuan or Colossal-sized, double the amount of damage dealt by each of its natural attacks instead. This spell does not actually change the creature's size; all of its statistics except the amount of damage dealt by its natural attacks remain unchanged."
Lead Blades
"Lead blades increases the momentum and density of your melee weapons just as they strike a foe. All melee weapons you are carrying when the spell is cast deal damage as if one size category larger than they actually are. For instance, a Medium longsword normally deals 1d8 points of damage, but it would instead deal 2d6 points of damage if benefiting from lead blades. Only you can benefit from this spell. If anyone else uses one of your weapons to make an attack it deals damage as normal for its size."
Of course, going by EXAMPLES isn't the best idea. However it can always help guide us.
From what I gather from what you stated, it seems that those gloves ONLY give a free bull rush upon a successful hit with unarmed or natural. An item that would increase your damage two sizes AND give a free bull rush would be pretty OP and you'd be believe everyone and their mother would get it if they were a druid or monk or something.

I agree with the above statements.
However, it does seem like 20,000 GP is a lot of gold for this item. Granted "free" combat maneuver is always nice. . .
Thank you rules-board folks!
