Optimistic gambler and quicken spell like ability would be amazing there..... on the other hand this wont be such an effective melee build anyway, so honestly I'd just slip the melee stuff as you wont do too well.
He's not meant to melee much, but he'll have a pretty sick Str when he's using Power of Giants and raging...and with reach, the idea is to be scary enough to keep opponents at spell ranges.

Your "Mage's Tattoo" (which is actually called Varisian Tattoo) is literally doing nothing in this build. Magical Knack is already maxing out your caster level, but cannot raise it higher than your character level. Other CL-boosting effects will do nothing unless they can raise it past your character level all on their own.

Are you positive it can't?
Mage's Tattoo
Prerequisite: Spell Focus.
Benefit: Select a school of magic (other than divination) in which you have Spell Focus—you cast spells from this school at +1 caster level. Additionally, you gain a single spell-like ability usable up to three times per day. The spell-like ability gained are as follows:
Abjuration: resistance
Conjuration: acid splash
Enchantment: daze
Evocation: dancing lights
Illusion: ghost sound
Necromancy: touch of fatigue
Transmutation: mage hand
I don't see that the tattoo can't raise it above caster level.

The tattoo can. But Magical Knack can't. When you're at level 4, you have 3 levels of Sorcerer, but Magical Knack is keeping your CL at 4. Once you get to level 5 and pick up your Tattoo, it tries to boost your CL for evocation spells up to 6. But then, you run afoul of the text of Magical Knack, which says it can't raise your CL past your character level (5); so it stops working. At that point, only the Varisian Tattoo is boosting your CL for evocation spells, and it can only boost it up to 5.

This makes me wonder...does the feat automatically take precedence over the trait, being counted first? I wouldn't think so...though the point is moot, I'm curious.
