Only you can prevent forest fires...

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Now, generally speaking, there are many controversial topics on here that when not discussed calmly get out of hand. Now I can't suggest we segregate all discussions with new sub forums but I feel as with digging ditches to slow a wild fire that certain steps can be taken by devs and posters. First, I propose new sub forums for each of say three tiers of gaming power level at least: Munchkin Corner, followed by standard high level play followed by mid level play and then a low level play sub forum. Monk threads should be shut down the second time a del would have normally removed posts or in fact monks could have an entire sub forum because quite frankly they are fluttering good advice space and general discussion. Check we could add a disputes sub forum for run off. Any un foreseen flamewars regarding say paladin or whatnot? just ship it to disputes sub forum.

To elaborate should there be two huge monk threads in general right now? I don't think so.

Cool story bro.

You my friend may need to see a proctologist, as it seems increasingly apparent based on your various responses I've read while checking your history(we have a bit on here of late) that you may have a large object lodged in such a place as may require surgical removal. Hope that was coherent enough of a response for you but in any case "ta ta".

Grand Lodge

Mungo like fire!!!!

Silver Crusade

There's already a "hide thread" function that anyone can use.

@ Mikaze, sadly, on this phone it merely grays out the thread as compared to a computer where it disappears. Before jumping to conclusions no, I don't have internet nor can I afford it. This phone gets 3g allowing me to post here when not at the library.

Regarding your original notion, Conundrum: it's a nice thought, but since the odds of a tangential dispute arising on any thread get higher with every post, about 75% of the threads started here - including many that start out with good, practical advice or helpful answers - would end up floating in a sort of sargasso of unread threads.

And since the Internet has not yet advanced to the point where duelling with pistols at dawn can be done online (which, by the way, is a Kickstarter project I'd donate to), I think we're better off just accepting the occasional spasm of nerd-rage as the price of seeking info on the net.

Thank you Lincoln. Also before we get locked I might add that this thread as with a good number of threads I start, were never really intended to be a serious subject.

I thought this was a discussion about forest fires. I want to know how to stop one in case I get caught in one.

It's been a while since I saw the black-and-white elementary school safety film, but I believe you're supposed to "Duck and Cover".

Or was that for floods?

You're supposed to drop...stop...shut em down open up shop.
