...Man, I post a lot of threads looking for build advice. Sorry :P
Anyway, I'm looking at creating a new character for the party I am currently in, which has a very solid setup already - conjuration wizard, archer bard, and two-handed fighter. This fighter isset up for the sole purpose of doing TONS of damage (Read: oversized bastard sword and +25 damage at level 6), and everyone can basically take on most of the roles we need in the party - bard buffs, and arches, wizard debuffs and controls, and fighter kills things. So, I'm pretty much free to play whatever I want. One of the ideas I'd like to look into is a character that sets the fighter up for dealing all her damage, as the only real issue for them is getting to the enemy before she kills it. This would also help take the pressure off the bard and wizard, who are obviously squishier. What would be a good way to do this? I was considering a drag/reposition build, but was wondering what other ideas or advice there might be, for this build or something that might work well in this party.
Thanks!

I'd consider something like the Reach Cleric. If you can use reach, combat maneuvers, spells, etc. to pin down enemies, your Fighter & archer can knock them down one at a time. Also, as you get higher in levels, your Fighter is going to need more magical support to deal with enemies who fly, force willpower saves, grab, etc.

Yes, great choice. Besides your group seems to lack a primary healer. Take the Cahnnel series of feats, and a decent CHA.
Another choice is Inquisitor with reach weapon and the Bodyguard series of feats.

I vote to combine GM Arkwright's and Ryan's suggestion. Make a crit fishing Magus who debuffs enemies into oblivion. And tell the fighter to change to scythe or tetsubo (large heavy pick does around the same damage and gets the -2 to hit). Your GM will weep. With chill touch, cornugon smash, bestow curse, trip, etc you can mitigate the damage the fighter is taking while making his 4th iteratives hit (eventually of course).
The other alternative I'd suggest is similar to DrDeth's suggestion. I started playing a Halfing Cavalier who was completely focused on Aid Another. With Bodyguard as a feat (the mount had it too after increasing its int to 3) most party members were mostly untouchable. Then you spend your turns giving +4 to hit for your ally's next attack. The wolf had trip as well.
Monk's with grapple and trip is another consideration now that I think of it.
I keep getting ideas... How about make another damage dealer who can tank better than the fighter. A Tiefling paladin with fey foundling an the alternate favored class has a ton of sustain, and is still a very viable threat to take the heat off the fighter.

A halfling with the Helpful trait (Halflings of Golarion) and the Battlefield Disciple trait (Ultimate Campaign) could use the aid another action to grant the fighter a +5 to hit.
Hmm. Can you crit on an attack roll made to aid another? If so, then Butterfly's Sting synergizes quite well with this. Grant a +5 to hit and it's an auto-crit. Not too bad for 2 feats and 2 traits. Leaves the class completely open for you as well.
If you really wanted to go all out though, you could be a fighter yourself (for the feats), but focus on aiding your combat buddy instead of dealing any damage yourself. Take Cautious Fighter and Blundering Defense (both halfling feats from Advanced Race Guide) and boost the AC of any ally you stand next to by simply fighting defensively. Crane Style (Ultimate Combat) will increase your dodge bonus to AC (and your ally's luck bonus to AC thanks to Blundering Defense). Bodyguard (Advanced Player's Guide) uses one of your Attacks of Opportunity to increase your fighter buddy's AC (by 4 thanks to the Helpful trait), and if the attack still gets through, use In Harm's Way (Advanced Player's Guide) to take the hit yourself, negate it with Crane Wing, and even retaliate with an attack of your own if you have Crane Riposte (and hopefully utilizing Butterfly's Sting). Lather, rinse, repeat.
Just stay adjacent to that fighter and you boost his AC and attack rolls as well as possibly granting him crits. Quite a nasty little helper.

Your current party:
- Wizard (Conjuration)
- Bard (Archer)
- Fighter (Two-handed)
I would totally make a cleric for this group:
- Important spells at mid/high levels that the party doesn't currently have access to.
- Restoration (lesser), Restoration, Restoration (greater)
- Heal
- Breath of Life, Raise Dead, Resurrection, True Resurrection
- Remove Disease, Remove Paralysis, Remove Blindness-Deafness - Quick Channel - the feat that makes clerics my favorite healers. Save your standard actions and spell slots for after combat, and keep everyone on their feet during tough fights with swift actions!
- A body in melee. With two characters who really don't want to be in melee (wizard & archer), I'd bring a front-line-capable character. Enter every combat with your Longspear +1, Spell Storing charged up with your favorite damaging or gimping spell. You're not the main fighter, but you're certainly an asset rather than a liability when the enemy makes contact.

Instead of that, you could go inquisitor, and take teamwork feats that let you charge when he charges, or bonuses to trip. Take the aid another feats as well, and you can eventually aid another as a swift and as move actions each round.
