Paired Opportunists and Bodyguard

Rules Questions

"Whenever you are adjacent to an ally who also has this feat, you receive a +4 circumstance bonus on attacks of opportunity against creatures that you both threaten."

"When an adjacent ally is attacked, you may use an attack of opportunity to attempt the aid another action to improve your ally’s AC.""

Would Paired Opportunists improve your Bodyguard aid another check?

I don't think this would help since you're not making an AoO "against" the attacker. You're using an AoO to attempt Aid Another, which is "against" an AC10. At least this is how I interpret it.

Gotcha, thank you.
