I have some confusion with this. Everyone says to go look at the additionalResources part of the website to see what is legal/not legal. However I see people with Gunslingers, Alchemist, Ninja, etc. and on the website it says
"All playtest versions of the six new base classes from this book are no longer legal for play as of 8/3/10." for example.
Were the characters I have seen just created prior to those cutoffs or were there changes that I am not seeing.

The playtest versions are not legal. The final versions, published in Ultimate Combat and Ultimate Magic are legal.
