Zen-archer and die hard skill

Rules Questions

Silver Crusade

Can a zen-archer still fire arrows with die hard skill while they are in the negative health?

They can fire one as a standard action. No flurrying though.

Silver Crusade

Can't they fire two with rapid shot since firing two is a standard action?

They don't have Rapid Shot, they have Flurrying, which is a full-round action. If they've somehow picked up the Rapid Shot feat, sure they can fire two.

Rapid Shot is a full-attack action, not a standard action.

Silver Crusade

They can have rapid shot if they get the feat and rapid shot can't be used with flurry but can be used without it. It's under the feats they can chose from.

Rapid shot is not usable with a standard action. Neither is multishot. Neither is flurry.

They can make a single attack with their standard action.

Silver Crusade

Ah ok since it's a full round action they can't but they can single round actions so only 1 shot.

Silver Crusade

So then they can shoot one arrow and it drops them down in health by one point and die hard kicks back in so they are disabled still. So they can keep shooting one arrow each round till they die then.

There is the Deathless Initiate feat for orcs and half-orcs to not be staggered while using Diehard (and Half-Orcs can get free Endurance feat as a variant). Alternatively, the Ring of Ferocious Action is cheap and lets you ignore the staggered condition 5 rounds/day, split up as you choose.

Silver Crusade

So then you can perform full round actions with the Deathless Initiate feat while you are using the Diehard feat and you would be losing 1 health each time you did a full round action. That's cool but you have to be an orc, or half orc. I'll have to look that ring up for my human zen-archer.

Silver Crusade

Hey that would be a cool combo too with my cleric if I had endurance, diehard, and that ring I can keep healing even in my negatives.

If you're going for Diehard, Half-Orc is arguably the optimal racial choice anyway. You can get Endurance (required for Diehard) as a variant in exchange for Orc Ferocity.

I suppose dipping the Unbreakable Fighter 1 level works too, though.
