Massive Weapons reduces the penalty for using too large weapons by 1 every three levels (minimum penalty of 0). Does this mean that by twelfth level a Titan Mauler can be using a Huge Greatsword (4d6) with no penalty? Or a Gargantuan one (6d6) at eighteenth?
What happens if the eighteenth level Titan Mauler decides to accept the -2 attack penalty to use a Colossal Greatsword (8d6) and then enlarges herself with Titanic Rage? There's no more categories for her insanely large weapon to expand to.
(I'm just thinking that this class might make a lot of video game character art useful for the first time.)

Issue you never gain the ability to actually lift the weapon.
You just lower the penalty if you had the ability. There is no Monkey Grip feat in Pathfinder.

Okay, now I see where the rules are that prevent this. I'm glad that it's not as wide open as I'd thought.
However, given that a medium Greatsword = large Longsword = huge Shortsword I'm now wondering what the point of the Titan Mauler's ability is at all.
If I remember right it's to do exactly what you thought, wield a bigger weapon. However when it was written up something happened and I guess that gig was missed somehow. Might help you wield a large bastard sword I guess.

This "medium Greatsword = large Longsword = huge Shortsword" is not true.
A Shortsword is a Shortsword, no matter the size.
Well, the Huge shortsword is 10 lbs and does piercing instead of slashing damage, while the other two are both 8 lbs. The damage is the same. The crit range is the same. So I guess that a 12th level Titan Mauler has the option of a slightly heavier greatsword that does piercing damage. Well, there's also a cost difference. So I suppose that there's also the advantage (?) of saving 20 gp by getting a large Longsword instead of a medium Greatsword.
The damage may change, and the hands needed to wield may change, but as far as your feats specific to particular weapons are concerned, it's a Shortsword.
True enough, but I don't see how it's germane to the question of what the use of the Massive Weapons ability is supposed to be.

The author had intended it to be an ability that allowed for bigger and bigger weapons.
It got errata'd, and kind of does very little.
See the author's fix here.

The biggest weapon a Titan Mauler can wield to use the penalty reduction ability is a large bastard sword.
There is also the Large Great Terbutje(which is just as long, deals the same damage and has the same critical), and the Urumi(which is longer than the Bastard Sword).
There just seems to be a widespread fetish for the Bastard Sword.

It can be useful for dualwielding, too.
You wield a medium shortsword in your offhand and a large or huge shortsword in your mainhand.
By doing so you can get stuff like weapon focus for both weapons and still have a larger weapon dice for the main hand.
It would have to be a Large Shortsword at best, since a Huge Shortsword would be a 2-h weapon. But it's a good point; makes for better than just a medium shortsword in each hand, but if you wanted to do that, it might be better to just go Two-weapon Warrior as they'll eventually be able to wield a pair of 1-h weapons (ie. Longswords, Bastard Swords, etc).
- At lvl 3, Titan Mauler can wield Large Shortsword(1d8)+Medium Shortsword(1d6) at -2/-1 with Weapon Focus and Massive Weapons
- At lvl 5, TWW can wield 2x Longsword(1d8) at -2/-2 with Weapon Focus and Twin Blades
- At lvl 6, Titan Mauler can wield Large Shortsword + Medium Shortsword at -1/-1
- At lvl 11, TWW can wield 2x Longsword at -0/-0
