I'm currently running a Runelords game and, as you might expect, the party is going to be fighting Goblins soon. It occurs to me that giving them Roll With It could add a fun element to the fight, having their enemies energetically bouncing everywhere as they try to put them down.
My question is how to make some sort of optimal/effective build for a goblin involving Roll With It. Using the feat leaves them prone and staggered, and because it costs an Immediate Action no monkey-style swift action to get back up. How can I get my goblins to somehow attack the players after they use this feat?

Why aren't they Rolling into the player characters and doing damage to them, like with spiked armor? Goblins are out of the frying pan and into the fire, but getting slammed into by a bunch of panicking goblins festooned with spikes should at least generate an attack roll for the gobs.
And if the acrobatics roll is high enough, they should be able to avoid the AoO, too.

It only leaves them prone if they collide with some one/thing. Solution: Don't choose a path that collides with things.
Best use of Roll With It is to get pounce, as you can charge as a standard action if limited to one and pounce lets you full attack off a charge.
Also helpful for RWI is to have flight, since "up" is a direction, and one that is seldom blocked by an obstacle, at least not for a bit up (and going diagonally up helps, too). I mean, you can launch upwards without flight, but...it's not terribly helpful...

If this movement would make you strike an object or creature of your size or larger, the movement immediately ends, you take 1d4 points of damage, and fall prone in that square.
For the prone issue: You are only prone if you hit something and the goblins get to choose which direction they go flying, so make them choose an open direction.
For the staggered issue: Staggered is a lame condition, limiting you to a move or a standard action. However, you can make use of this and charge! What I mean is that you should charge your opponents because you can charge while staggered.
If you are able to take only a standard action on your turn, you can still charge, but you are only allowed to move up to your speed (instead of up to double your speed) and you cannot draw a weapon unless you possess the Quick Draw feat. You can't use this option unless you are restricted to taking only a standard action on your turn.
And lastly, to improve your charging ability give all those cuddly goblins Improved Unarmed Strike and Dragon Style so they can charge through allies and difficult terrain with a little extra oomph from their tiny little fists. It will make your life so much easier and your pcs will hate you for it.

Dayum, you fellows have some nice ideas. Thanks for pointing out my misunderstanding of the feat.
Just imagining goblins bouncing off then charging right back at the players... this could be quite magnificent. To be kind I might put some kind of percentage chance of hitting something fragile and hurting the goblins (spoiler: it'll be happening in the glassworks, so...)
Some excellent ideas here, going to have a look at some charging builds. Thank you kindly.

There is also the ring of Ferocious Action. They cost 3000 gp each and let you ignore the Staggered condition 5 rounds per day.
