Everything's better when your state superhero is played by Ron Perlman!
Fans. Fans Never Change.
Thank goodness for that. It's gonna be at least five years until I can narrate another Fallout, unless Obsidian is making another spinoff with the Fallout 4 engine like they did with New Vegas and the Fallout 3 engine. Papa Ron has gots to get paid!

Wait, there's a chance people will buy things?

Hold on now...'Life is Pain' could also be rugged Stoicism...I mean my favorite philosophy about life that IO came up with is. "Make friends with Pain and you will have a friend for life."
Is that emo?

Life is pain.
"Life... is strength. This is not to be contested; it seems logical enough. You live; you affect your world. But is it what you want? You are... different inside.
This woman lives and has strength of a sort. She lost her parents to plague, her husband to war, but she persevered. Her farm has prospered, her name is respected and her children are fed and safe. She lived as she thought she should. And now she is dead. Her land will be divided, her children will move on, and she will be forgotten. She lived a good life, but she had no power; she was a slave to death.
I wonder if you are destined to be forgotten. Will your life fade in the shadow of greater beings?"

Life is a bunch of things...like the old passage in the bible (I think there made a song of it to...) There is time for...
Life is Pain...Life is Strength...Life is Joy...Life is sadness...Life is conflict...life is peace...etc. The interesting thing is life is all of these things at the same time.

As far as I can tell, that is a Dak'kon quote, and not from the 7 Circles of Zerthimon, I dare say I think he is talking about himself and Nameless in that quote.
As to not clog up Jon's thread, I have created The Official "Lets Walk Down Memory Lane Talking About Planescape: Torment" thread.
let the dirty quotes and fond memories begin.

Yeah, I was just un-seriously quoting from the Wit & Wisdom of Jon Irenicus.
