Rules for mundane flaming arrows?

Rules Questions

Liberty's Edge

I'm working under the assumption that an arrow, a bit of cloth doused in lamp oil, and a flame equals a flaming arrow. I would also assume that like the spell flame arrow this arrow would deal an extra 1d6 damage. If these assumptions are wrong please let me know.

My questions are: how much time it would take to prepare such arrows? What would you roll including the DC to prepare them? How much oil and cloth per quiver would this use? Would it be considered a move action to light them? How would that change if you had an open flame ready like a campfire or a lit candle? What are the chances that the target will catch fire? If there are any issues I'm missing, please let me know.

Sovereign Court

Unfortunately, there is no entry for assumptions in the additional resources. In a home game, your GM might allow arrows such as these, but I doubt it; if there were an easy way to make arrows every bit as useful as flaming arrows, why on earth would anyone ever make flaming arrows? If mundane flaming arrows are every published in a PFS-legal source, then it will include instructions on their creation and use.

Shadow Lodge

If anything, you should refer to the rules for using a torch as a weapon. A flaming arrow would deal, at most, one point of fire damage.

Expect table variance. I wouldn't rely on being able to use this idea.

Sorry, if you wana play Bo with Uncle Jessie's moonshine, you're going to need to take the grenadier alchemist archtype.
