oh i see thats preety simple. although +2 dmg and attack isnt going to be that big a deal later, it will give alot of exp extra. the 4 ac though is still nice even later in levels
It's nastier than you might think.
+2 attack, +2 or +3 to damage, +4 AC, +4 CMD, +2 touch AC, +2 ALL SAVES, +2 ALL DCs, +2 skill ranks per HD, +2 hp per HD ...
Cherry pick a monster with a PC-class-suited ability score array, add on advanced simple template ... then the +4/+4/+2/+2/+0/-2 "PC class modifier array" ... all of a sudden the base monster's 'primary ability score' is 8 points higher for a 2 point bump to CR (+1 for the advanced template, +1 for 1 or 2 PC class levels).

According to a cursory search the Advanced Creature template has a CR of Base creature CR +1. Which means the players will gain experience as if they had defeated a creature of the base CR+1. Take a look at this chart here: http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/monsters/monsterCreation.html#_table-1-7 -xp-and-gp-values-by-cr
The chart assumes medium XP progression by the way.
So, if the base creature has a CR of 4 which is normally 1200 XP, you would instead award 1600 XP, as for a CR 5 creature. Also remember that this amount of XP is split evenly between all players in the group, and even any NPCs that may be assisting. Companion characters, characters from leadership, and others may have sperate distinct rules for how they gain, and how much XP they gain and do not take from the original XP pool. However, if you as the GM put a 4th level fighter with the group because the 3 players all played casters, then the fighter get 1/4 of the total XP.
These are also just general guidelines. As a GM you are free to decide how much XP any monster is worth. Normally in the games I play in we ignore monster XP and our GM has us level whenever he feels is appropriate (usually after a milestone in the game or after a significant number of battles). This works out pretty well for us, but were also playing a homebrew campaign and not an adventure path that expects you to be a certain level for certain fights.
