Hi All,
Question about he liquid blade from Ultimate Equipment (which I think is the coolest idea ever!)
Can you have a small sized one??
I think you probably can but as its for a PFS character I'd like to get the communities thoughts.
Ultimate Equipment says that the liquid solidifies into a medium short sword, and doesn't mention small at all, but it is a weapon and there are rules to apply a small template.
I imagine it would be 1d4damage and weigh 1lb?
What do you guys think?

It's 100% GM's choice to be gracious enough to allow small weapon option . That said, I think any GM worth anything should allow a small blade. What a buzzkill who wouldn't allow this...
Personally I never saw the use of liquid blade. It's expensive, and doesn't make a strong weapon either. Why couldn't you just conceal a dagger? medieval metal detectors? There's always stone/bone dagger I guess.
While it's not that similar, I think at least a magic oil of shrink item would be useful— despite being so much more expensive. The biggest downside is it's limited duration of several days, but aside from that one could shrink a great sword, a giant iron/stone slab, boulder, boat, or tree.
actually maybe it would be too expensive; depends on the availability of money and if it's brewed by the party to save money
