Master of many styles

Rules Questions

Grand Lodge

Ok here is a theoretical question.

Let's say I am a level 1 monk (master of many styles)

If I take the bonus feat as panther style.

Can I then take panther claw (1st level feat)

and then...

panther parry (human bonus feat)

or is that illegal?

Unfortunately, no this does not work. MoMS only removes the need for prerequisites from bonus feats. If you took combat reflexes as your 1st level feat and panther style as your human feat you could take panther claw with your bonus feat. Then at second level you could take panther parry with your bonus feat.

You should also take combat reflexes before using your human bonus feat and 1st level feat to take the panther style tree. Ignoring this element, i see where you're going...

I suppose it's up to your GM. I would say it's possible, because you take a feat for reaching 1st level, a feat for being human when you reach 1st level and a feat for reaching 1st level "something that gives you a bonus feat when you reach first level"... So you take 3 feats when your character reach first level from... level 0? level 1/2? 0 HD humanoid? I don't know, the point is, you take 3 feats when you reach 1st level, it shouldn't matter the order you select them. But someone may not agree.
