hostile Negotiations?

Time for another idea from ThroatPunchGames! Should you be able to make violent methods for negotiations like cops in "The Wire?" How about this feat....

The Hard Way-Feat-Let’s just skip the easy way, and more right to hard…-Instead of charisma for intimidate and diplomacy[Gather Information] checks, you may use strength. The target may become hostile to you after you gather the information desired from the target.

Thoughts? Good idea/bad idea?

I have always hated that you could only use CHA for intimidate, I have always thought you could use STR or CHA. So I am all for it.

isn't that alredy a feat?

Feat: Intimidating Prowess

Add your strength modifier to your intimidate checks, in addition to your charisma modifier.

This new feat would be useful if the character had a negative charisma modifier, but comes at the cost of making the target hostile. It also allows for diplomacy (Gather Information), which can be useful.

Not a bad trade off, in my opinion. I think it could work for those who have dumped charisma, but for anyone else, Intimidating Prowess is far better.
