I know that Alchemists can craft alchemical components but can these components be given to wizards or clerics to enhance their spells? or are the components only usable by the alchemist?

The "components" are normal alchemical items you can craft and buy such as Alchemist's Fire or Tanglefoot Bags. Mundane items anyone can use without any proficiencies or such. The alchemist is just better at using them.

Are you talking about power components? Becuase if you say... craft an alchemist fire you can always give that to a wizard who loves boosting his flaming sphere, or that rogue that just wants to set something on fire. Still cost money and time though. And anyone can craft, alchemist just have a class feature that gives a bonus to it. And power components are oddly specific.

If you are referring to the "Alchemical Power Components" from the Adventurer's Armory, several of the spells that are listed as being enhanced by the alchemical components aren't even on the Alchemist's extract list, implying that they can be used by any spellcasting class.

I was thinking in general and specific, MrSin and Agnel Cow. Say add a component that enhances Searing Light. Thanks for answering both! :)
