How do I join an online campaign?

I was looking over some online campaigns and was intrigued. I wanted to know how does one enter a game and what the proper 'rules' are for joining. Thank you!

There's a recruitment area for the ones on these boards. Usually, there will be the rules posted for each particular game. Don't be afraid to tell people you are new and it's your first time, they will usually be pretty helpful.

Yar. That or go on any number of sites that have Virtual Tabletops (I second Alex' remark on this one) and petition to join someone's game.
