Weapons that do 2 types of damage vs DR

Rules Questions

If I am using a mace that is both B and P damage types, and I attack a skeleton for a total of 5 damage with DR/5 bludgeoning, does it do 5 damage or 0 damage?

5 damage. You use the most beneficial type for a weapon with damage types seperated by an 'and'. If it was 'or' you'd have to choose.

5 damage.

Ah, the morningstar. If I manufactured weapons in the pathfinder world I would make little else than morningstars and greatswords.

The rule is that because your weapon has "bludgeoning", it qualifies as getting past the DR. Piercing doesn't come into it.

If another monster has DR/5 piercing, the same thing applies, except "piercing" would qualify and bludgeoning wouldn't come into it.

The same applies for negative effects. If, for example, a creature sprays its opponent with foul necrotic pus when struck with a piercing or slashing weapon, B/P triggers that ability.
